Zeffane is joining so it was hugely unlikely that we’d be signing Byram as well.

Nottingham's dirty secret
I disagree I thought he is a full back in a Robinson mould. The most attacking full backs I’ve seen are Gunter and Brennan.

No chance.

He's very offensive. More so than Robinson. Great on the overlap and in the final third with one of the best crosses we've seen here for many a year.

Sigh.......

John Robertson
Get player if he can stay fit. He can't though. We'll soon discover we dodged a bullet once he's ruled out for another few months.

Shame, he'd be well worth the punt at that price.

However, hoping that injury-prone players don't break down has been the failing of many a previous manager, so I suppose it's the sensible decision.

He’s a cracking player for the half dozen or so games when he’s not injured. With our injury curse I’m relieved we’ve not gone for him. Would only have broken down for most of the season.

Daniel Taylor saying he's heard Norwich are the team but he hasn't had it confirmed. Interesting if it is them because they were one of the teams reportedly trying for Zeffane.

Green Jumper

"Nottingham Forest Are Premier League"
His agents will have been trying to get him into one of the promoted or relegated teams for sure.

If the 750K fee is accurate, it may suggest a less affluent team though.

Sorry guys but I hope it's not Forest to sign him.
The team needs a good RB not a lottery ticket.
Last season he already had a bad injury record and you remember what happened.
It's not time to take this kind of risk (and with high wages too)

Going to play back-up to Max Aarons. Suppose it is fair enough. Best when he can chip in the odd game.

Unless Aarons is off to a bigger club, people will pay a lot for a young lad with plenty of talent as well as obvious potential.

Signed a new deal till 2024. A year ago he was unknown outside Norwich never on England youth radar. Was so impressive at CG last season.
