Sling her an extra £10k per month allowance for the 'gram' narrative and she'll be good.

I think so too, not sure what she is hoping to achieve and I don't get why there has to comment on anything but honestly most of it was fine in terms of sentiment but when she said that neither of them have any choice in the matter she overstepped the boundaries of reality. The club might want to sell him and a club (Possibly us) might want to buy him but if he has no interest in moving he really doesn't have to, nor does she have to move with him for that matter.

At first read I was interpreting it as Forest will buy him if Wolves won't sell Gibbs-White for our next offer (and/or Gibbs-White won't put in a transfer request or whatever?).

That could be way off I suppose though! It fits "it's not up to us" (with nothing having been decided) but so can other scenarios.

The club that owns the registration is entitled to sell it without the players agreement.

This happened recently with Luis Suarez from Barca to Athleti.

The selling club has to pay up the contract with the player.

There is jeopardy for the buying club who have to agree a new contract.

But legally and according to the FIFA rules, it can happen.

Morally etc, it's a different matter; season to taste.

Just sounds like her emotions have taken over her brain with her comments.

Hopefully he has the same impact for us as Suarez did for Athletico!

In her defence Bergamo (alta) is nice. Also this is the place where every child born in Bergamo is gifted a baby sized Atalanta kit from the club.
They don't seem to have beach in the main square either.

Yes he was - I was at his (Van Hooijdonk's) signing and remember speaking to both Pearce and Harry Basset (Basset had arrived to "help" Pearce who was then caretaker manager. Off the record Basset told me he'd been brought in to take over and had been convinced to come by the new consortium that'd taken over that included Wray (who he said was the money man and willing to pay the big bucks) but he didn't like Scholar... how right he was...
Spurs fans warned us at the time that Scholar was a w*****.

Bloody hope not, that's one drawn out saga I'd rather not see resurrected! 😂 I'm sure the club probably has a list of targets for this position though; the next name probably won't be as good as MGW, Aouar or Malinovskyi but I'm sure they'll identify a decent alternative.

You say that but I think the names get better when we miss a target, almost a kind of.. screw you we got better lined up anyway!

Bloody hell.

Was hoping he was waiting in the wings in case Aourar fell through.
Personally don’t buy it. Doesn’t fit their system at all. They play with 3 up top with Kane dropping in deep to get the ball and play in the forwards, essentially occupying the space of a number 10.

Unless they see him as a back up to Kane, in which case it’s a terrible move for him as he’ll never play.
