I'm glad the conversation around Djebbour has finally moved onto him being a bit too shit for a pub team. For about three years after he left here there was bizarrely a reputation for being "good off the ball" and "unlucky" which simply wouldn't die.

Rafik Djebbour, 34, played in the French 3rd league last year. Fostiras, a historic Greek club now playing in the local Attica division (imagine something similar to a pub league) offered him 20,000 euros per year to play for them.

The only problem is that when they met him he was well above 10 kilos overweight.
