Shamelessly stolen off a football forum, obviously replacing 'your team' with Forest.

1. Age?
37.

2. How far from Forest's stadium?
About 2 and a half hours.

3. Your first ever game watching Forest and what made you go to that game?
Home game vs Liverpool on New Year's Day 1990 live on TV.  Result 2-2 with a great second half comeback from 0-2 down.  Went because some mates of mine supported Liverpool and fancied welcoming in the New Year with a game.

4. Your all-time favourite match and why?
Home game vs Leicester in 2002/03.  Great comeback from Forest to draw 2-2 with a Jack Lester goal in injury time.  Leicester had been diving, cheating, acting and wasting time ever since they went in front and I was in the Bridgford Upper above the Leicester fans.  I've never felt joy around the CG like I did when that equaliser went in.

5. Your all-time favourite player and why?
Stuart Pearce.  A down to earth bloke who came from humble beginnings to be be one of the best full back this country has ever had and gave absolutely everything for Forest every time he played.  If only all players had his commitment.

6. Favourite ground visited to watch Forest?
Highbury.  Everthing was perfect there and it was a sad day when Arsenal moved.

7. The best goal you ever saw a Forest player score?
Almost any goal that Stan Collymore scored for Forest.

8. Who would you most like to see Forest sign? (Realistically!)
A guaranteed 25 goal a season striker - Leroy Lita would score goals for us.  I'm surprised he's gone to Norwich on loan!

9. Which former player would you like to see back at Forest?
Jermaine Jenas.

10. Which was your most disappointing moment following Forest?
The play-off semi-final vs Yeovil.  At that point it felt like we'd never get out of League 1.

11. ...and your most pleasing moment?
Promotion last year.  I've experienced greater things in the past, but having plumbed the depths that was the most pleasing.

12. Which was your favourite Cup game? (any cup)
UEFA Cup away to Bayern Munich.  A brilliant few days and it felt like we were truly one of the big boys again.

13. What is your biggest moan about Forest?
Negativity of the fans and an unrealistic expectation that we should be challenging at the top of whatever league we're playing in.

14. Who, in your opinion, was the worst player you ever saw in a Forest shirt?
Eugene Dadi.  I've never seen a worse performance than I saw on a cold night at Woking in the LDV Trophy.  Absoultely disgraceful.

15. ...and who was the best?
Stan Collymore.  Could have been the best player in the world in my opinion.  There was no limit to his ability and if his character had matched his talent he'd have been an England player for years and years.  Proof if it was needed that the grass isn't always greener elsewhere.  The day he left was when our real decline began.

16. Since you have been watching Forest, which has been the best season for you, and why?
1994/95 when we finished 3rd in our first season back in the Premier League.  An awesome team.

17. Who would you like to see as manager of Forest? (Realistically!)
Darren Ferguson seems to have inherited some of his dad's ability.

18. Who, in your opinion, has been Forest's best manager?
Brian Clough!  No manager has ever achieved more.

19. Realistically, where would you like to see Forest in five and then ten years time?
5 years - either in the Premiership or pushing at the top of the Championship
10 years - established in the middle of the Premiership with a string of talented young players who came through our academy.

20. Biggest disappointment so far this season?
Nathan Tyson.

21. Biggest improvement so far this season?
Garath McLeary.  Has stepped up a level better than most and now one of the first names on the team sheet in my book.  Is it just me that gets more pleasure from seeing a bargain signing play well rather than a big money player?

Psycho, Stan the Man. Can't choose between em.

3. Your first ever game watching Forest and what made you go to that game?

No idea, I was a mere baby.

4. Your all-time favourite match and why?

1989 Littlewoods Cup Final vs. Luton. W 3-1, Clough (2) Webb.

5. Your all-time favourite player and why?

Psycho or Dezzy. Honourable mentions to Marlon and Andy Reid.

6. Favourite ground visited to watch Forest?

Probably the dearly departed Roker Park.

7. The best goal you ever saw a Forest player score?

Andy Reid vs West Ham, Jim Brennan vs Norwich or Steve Stone vs Auxere.

8. Who would you most like to see Forest sign? (Realistically!)

As we need a right back, I'll say Nicky Hunt, on loan at Birmingham. Also, I think we should bring Will Hoskins back.

Marlon or Andy Reid.

10. Which was your most disappointing moment following Forest?

I'm going to say the last decade.

11. ...and your most pleasing moment?

12. Which was your favourite Cup game? (any cup)

The afore-mentioned trip to Auxerre, or Lyon at home in the following round.

Or perhaps the 1-0 defeat to Accrington Stanley a couple of years back. I jest, of course.

The Brian Clough Stand. Why did gobbiest man in football have a library named after him?

14. Who, in your opinion, was the worst player you ever saw in a Forest shirt?

Gareth Taylor, without hesitation. I know he scored a few important goals, but I don't care.

15. ...and who was the best?

Stuart Pearce.

16. Since you have been watching Forest, which has been the best season for you, and why?

1988/89. Won the Littlewoods Cup and the Simod Cup, FA Cup semi-finalists and third in the top flight. Back in the days when you could travel to places like Dorset and see the locals proudly wearing Forest shirts.

17. Who would you like to see as manager of Forest? (Realistically!)

Resident foodie!
1. Age?

19

2. How far from Forest's stadium?

208 miles. Or 3 hours 50 minutes.

3. Your first ever game watching Forest and what made you go to that game?

Tottenham Hotspur at home in Cloughie's retirement season. We won 2-1. I think my Dad took me just so I had seen Clough in charge.

4. Your all-time favourite match and why?

Beating Peterborough to gain promotion back to the big time! Collymore's goals were wonderful, the atmosphere was fantastic and I went on the pitch, where I was kissed by a woman older than Nottingham Forest.

5. Your all-time favourite player and why?

I suppose it'd have to be Psycho, wouldn't it. Apart from the obvious, though, I'll say Bryan Roy.

6. Favourite ground visited to watch Forest?

Well, I used to judge the quality of a ground on their pies and I remember Oakwell had brilliant ones, but it's a shithole so I'll have to pick somewhere else... Villa Park is a very nice ground.

7. The best goal you ever saw a Forest player score?

In terms of quality, then Marlon King v West Ham, but for sheer elation, either Jules, Commons or McGugan against Yeovil, or Steve bloody Chettle against Bayern Munich!

8. Who would you most like to see Forest sign? (Realistically!)

James Beattie. If he played up front with Earnshaw, we'd be f***ing amazing! Apart from him, one of the Arsenal youngsters that played last night!

9. Which former player would you like to see back at Forest?

Still playing? Probably Marlon Harewood. Apart from him, Bryan Roy, Stan Collymore, Stuart Pearce, Des Lyttle! or Nigel Clough.

10. Which was your most disappointing moment following Forest?

Collapsing at home to Bayern after such a good result in the first leg. I can't believe we lost by such an amount!

11. ...and your most pleasing moment?

I quite enjoyed Psycho's testemonial. I know it's not a 'proper' game, but where else would you see Big Norm up front scoring goals?  :D

12. Which was your favourite Cup game? (any cup)

FA Cup - Tottenham away. Norm's penalty saves and victory lap!
UEFA Cup - Lyon away. It may have been 0-0, but we got through!

13. What is your biggest moan about Forest?

New stadium? Ha!

14. Who, in your opinion, was the worst player you ever saw in a Forest shirt?

I never saw Eugene Dadi or Gino Padula play, thankfully, so I'll say Nicky Eaden.

15. ...and who was the best?

Stuart Pearce or Stan Collymore. If SVC had stayed, he'd have been one of the best English strikers for a long time. Van Hooijdonk was excellent, too.

16. Since you have been watching Forest, which has been the best season for you, and why?

Probably the season we got into the UEFA Cup quarter final, I think. I know we finished 3rd the season before, but Europe is so much better!

17. Who would you like to see as manager of Forest? (Realistically!)

I don't want rid of the current one, but if he were to leave, I'd be happy with Sam Allardyce.

18. Who, in your opinion, has been Forest's best manager?

In my supporting-lifetime, Frank Clark. Obviously, if we're going back further then the question is a silly one!

19. Realistically, where would you like to see Forest in five and then ten years time?

In five years, I'd like to see us back in the Premiership, being a bit like Middlesbrough! Ten years should see us back in the top half, challenging for European places again.

20. Biggest disappointment so far this season?

September and October (until the 28th) and Kelvin Wilson.

21. Biggest improvement so far this season?

James Perch has improved the most, but I'd like to commend Chris Cohen on the way he has adapted to this league.

Oh god. 28 years.
You get less than that for rape and murder.

4. Your all-time favourite match and why?
Regular game: (h) v Man Utd December 84. Ended up 3-2 to Forest. Johnny Metgod curled one of the best free-kicks ever with virtually the last kick of the game to win it. Brilliant!

Shamelessly stolen off a football forum, obviously replacing 'your team' with Forest.

1. Age?

33 and three quarters

2. How far from Forest's stadium?

Moved to St Lucia, so I'm not sure how to find that out

3. Your first ever game watching Forest and what made you go to that game?
Again not sure, I used to pretend I liked Forest to start with so I could accompany my Dad to the ground he'd sit me in the Junior reds bit where I would duly sit and stare at the clock for 90 odd minutes freezing my arse off - all this to escape the wicked step mother! I started to actually enjoy going when I got to Junior school and would often go to the trent end by me sen or stand with my dad in the old bridgeford end.

4. Your all-time favourite match and why?
For all-round this has to be when we played Manure in the cup (I think it was the quarters) at their place. Not only the result (winning 1-0) but also the atmosphere (lost my voice at half time much to the relief of a couple of old gents sat in front of me). But the best part of the day for me was the thousands of us being escorted from the train station to the ground with literally thousands of forest fans, taking over the road and the traffic stopping - makes my hair stand on end even now to think about it.

5. Your all-time favourite player and why?
Psycho, the word "passion" says it all I think.

6. Favourite ground visited to watch Forest?
Wembley Mk 1 or Old tafford

7. The best goal you ever saw a Forest player score?
Maybe not the most technical but I really enjoyed a cheeky back heel by Bryan Roy at the start of a season, not sure which season though, (was it 94-95 season?).

8. Who would you most like to see Forest sign? (Realistically!)
A decent right back and left back - cant keep up to date with who is decent now but from what I hear and read these are the desperate areas which need vast urgent improvement.

9. Which former player would you like to see back at Forest?
Do I have to say Brian Rice? If not then Stanley Collymore - saw him play at Bristol City (again in the cup I think) and he simply took the piss that day as we won 3-1. Class.

10. Which was your most disappointing moment following Forest?
Has to be relegation to the third tier, a low I hope never to be repeated.

11. ...and your most pleasing moment?
A win anywhere anyhow - it really lifts my week as I'm sure it does all fellow trickies.

12. Which was your favourite Cup game? (any cup)
Forest Vs Luton at Wemb-er-ley - I was still a relatively youngun and had my blow up white tree and again the site of Forest taking over the roads and pubs near the ground will be something I will remember for the rest of my life, oh and of course we won!

13. What is your biggest moan about Forest?
That some fellow trickies seem to think we deserve to be in the Prem just because of who we are and our history. I'm happy enough in the Championship at the moment - though if we were in the Prem Id get to see us on American cable and Caribbean TV more.

14. Who, in your opinion, was the worst player you ever saw in a Forest shirt?
Silenzi - especially after all the hype of his arrival. (Was part of the hype that he used to be a strike partner for Maradona or someone just as impressive, if the hype was true I simply cant understand...)

15. ...and who was the best?
Desmond Walker at his prime, calm and composed but bloody quick - I never panicked when it was a one on one

16. Since you have been watching Forest, which has been the best season for you, and why?
When we finished 3rd in the Premiership - purely because i hadnt expected us to do so well after being promoted the year before.

17. Who would you like to see as manager of Forest? (Realistically!)
Arsene Wenger, now I know it said realisitically but who knows if these mid east chaps want to invest then it depends what ambitions they have. If not I'd like to have Psycho / Clough Jnr double act, passion and brains and I would never doubt for one second their hearts werent in it 110%

18. Who, in your opinion, has been Forest's best manager?
No brainer. Bethlehem may have had Jesus but Nottingham had God.

19. Realistically, where would you like to see Forest in five and then ten years time?
Not bothered whether its the Championship or Premiership as long as we play decent footie, financially secure and are comfortable of avoiding relegation.

20. Biggest disappointment so far this season?
The number of injuries - I really believe we could have a v good team if we were able to play our strongest lineup for a couple of months, to gel.

21. Biggest improvement so far this season?
For me personally the fact that we are in the Championship means I get to watch Forest on Setanta or Fox Soccer channel, several times already so far.

1. Age? - 40

2. How far from Forest's stadium? – Bristol to Nottingham 131miles (thanks to the AA route planner)

3. Your first ever game watching Forest and what made you go to that game? – Bristol City, late 1970’s. Because I was born in Nottingham but my local team was Bristol. I was the only forest fan in my school. Everyone else supported either Leeds or Liverpool.

4. Your all-time favourite match and why? Winning the European cup 1979. I was allowed to stay up especially.

5. Your all-time favourite player and why? – Tony Woodcock – 1970’s equivalent of Torres or Drogba.

6. Favourite ground visited to watch Forest? – City Ground. I didn’t get there until I was in my 20’s.  I was like a kid on Christmas morning.
Worst – Swindon town in the rain.

7. The best goal you ever saw a Forest player score?
Archie Gemmil – Scotland vs Holland 1978 World Cup. – Say no more..

8. Who would you most like to see Forest sign?

Fernando Torres. I bet it’s his dream too

9. Which former player would you like to see back at Forest?
Stuart Pearce – as manager.

10. Which was your most disappointing moment following Forest?

1. 1991 FA Cup final. I had been on exercise all week, and just got back in time for the game in the NAAFI. I was filthy dirty, knackered and on the way to getting very drunk. Worse still I bet someone £50 that Forest would win.

2. Loosing 5 – 0 to Manchester United – ouch!

11. ...and your most pleasing moment?
Going to Birmingham City with my Dad and Uncle and coming back from 1 – 0 down to win.

12. Which was your favourite Cup game? (any cup)
European cup final 1979.

13. What is your biggest moan about Forest?

With the right manager we can be at the top of the Premiership.

14. Who, in your opinion, was the worst player you ever saw in a Forest shirt?
The whole team 2004/2005 season

15. ...and who was the best
?
Peter Shilton.

16. Since you have been watching Forest, which has been the best season for you, and why?
Although I still love Forest nowadays, nothing can compare to the passion that I had as a schoolboy. Forest just won everything in the late 70’s to early 80’s.

17. Who would you like to see as manager of Forest? (Realistically!)

Although I hate Manchester United. Alex Fergusson is probably the best British manager since Brian Clough.

18. Who, in your opinion, has been Forest's best manager?
Brian Clough – need you ask?

19. Realistically, where would you like to see Forest in five and then ten years time?[/b]
In 5 to 10 years to be competing in the top half of the premiership. Not a pipe dream. Forest are a side with a great pedigree and don’t deserve to be where we are. I really believe it is possible. We are still famous.

20. Biggest disappointment so far this season?
The start of the season has been pretty awful so far. But the squad is solid and we are unbeaten in about 5 games, in nearly all those games we should have won. We just need a bit of class up front.

Andy Reid

10. Which was your most disappointing moment following Forest?

11. ...and your most pleasing moment?

That Lee Camp save was pretty amazing but would have to go for beating United 2-1 at Old Trafford

12. Which was your favourite Cup game? (any cup)

Forest v Chelsea a couple of seasons ago. I know we got tonked but it was really surreal seeing Julian Bennett against Wright-Phillips

13. What is your biggest moan about Forest?

At times there just isn't any urgency. And Wes Morgan needs to run at players more often.

14. Who, in your opinion, was the worst player you ever saw in a Forest shirt?

Danny Sonner, no question

15. ...and who was the best?

Pierre van Hooijdonk

Five years time, a decent Prem side. Ten Years, challenging for a European spot.

20. Biggest disappointment so far this season?

Not beating Derby or losing to Sunderland after outplaying them for the whole game.

21. Biggest improvement so far this season?

James Perch as a player but overall, we actually look like a GOOD passing side. Dangerous too

2. How far from Forest's stadium? Currently about a mile. When I'm at home in bed, about 2 miles.

3. Your first ever game watching Forest and what made you go to that game? I think it was when we beat Chelsea in the lateish 80s.

4. Your all-time favourite match and why?Tricky one. Probably one of the European Nights for the sheer wow factor of being in Europe, or any of the matches from that previous season when Stan the Man was making mincemeat out of everyone. From a personal point of view, I enjoyed beating Grimsby 5-2 ro 5-3 in the early 90s, just after we'd been relegated. Paul Chrichton let one under is foot as he tried to kick it.

5. Your all-time favourite player and why? Stan. Reasons? Do I need to explain? The man personified football magnificence.

6. Favourite ground visited to watch Forest? Old Wembley.

7. The best goal you ever saw a Forest player score? This should be a Stan goal. He scored a lot of memorable ones. One could also argue it should be a Psycho goal, he too scored some awesome goals, one, even, in an FA Cup final. For me, though, I'm going to go for Ian Woan against Spurs. If I have to describe it further, you're not a Forest fan.

8. Who would you most like to see Forest sign? (Realistically!) I think we've got a great squad, and don't need to sign anyone. That said, if we get th chance to sign anyone who is better than who we currently have playing in said position, we'd be foolish not to.

9. Which former player would you like to see back at Forest? Stan the Man, in his pomp.

10. Which was your most disappointing moment following Forest? Obvious ones are relegation, play off defeats, and losing to Derby. For me, it would be losing 1-0 to Man Utd in the rumbelows cup final in 1992. I've never selt such disappointment. Even the FA Cup final didn't sadden me as much. I don't even know why, I was just absolutely gutted that we lost that.

11. ...and your most pleasing moment?
It's difficult to look past May 3rd. I will call it 'May 3rd', as if I wrote out 'promotion from division 3 to division 2' it would look silly compared to my other memories including Cup Finals and beating the best teams in the world.

There have been many great moments in Forests history, but I can't think of a single time when we've needed 2 other results to go our way, unlikely results at that, and it happened. We've always succeeded, or failed, on the back of our own ability, May 3rd encompassed something I don't recall ever feeling before. A final day with radios tuned and everyone wanting to know the score of other games. Very random, and a very good day.

12. Which was your favourite Cup game? (any cup)
Tricky one again. I'm going to say Lyon.

13. What is your biggest moan about Forest?
That sometimes we seem to not put 100% in. I think that's terrible, and each individual player needs to look at themselves for the culprits. I don't mind if we lose to good teams, but i absolutely hate losing when a little bit of effort could have seen us win. I appreciate that sometimes things just don't work, but that's when someone needs to show their true mettle.

14. Who, in your opinion, was the worst player you ever saw in a Forest shirt?
I saw Spring Heeled Jack wearing a Forest shirt once.

15. ...and who was the best?
Stan.

16. Since you have been watching Forest, which has been the best season for you, and why?
The season we finished 3rd in the Premiership. It was glorious to be a promoted side, a new side, and go to places like Man Utd and win on merit.

It's oft likened to Hull, but I don't think that's right. We were a dangerous team, who had a bad season and got relegated. We didn't go up with any ideals of finishing just outside the releagation zone. We entered that league to win it, and I believe we could have done.

17. Who would you like to see as manager of Forest? (Realistically!)
I'm happy with Colin.

Much like I said about the players, if we get the chance of someone who can do something special, then we'd be foolish to turn it down. This is what I was talking about when the Big Sam talks were going on. I don't want Colin out, but I wouldn't keep any one person at this club if there was someone better wanting their place.

18. Who, in your opinion, has been Forest's best manager?
I take it we're eliminating Clough from this, as that would be like putting Real Madrid in the conference.

I think Frank Clark was special. He did something, like Clough, that hasn't been repeated. Take a team from division 2 to a 'Champions League' (as it would be now) spot. I can't see Hull maintaining it. I hope they do, but I can't see it.

19. Realistically, where would you like to see Forest in five and then ten years time?
Premiership, challenging the top4. Why would that not be realistic? All we have to do is win a few games.

20. Biggest disappointment so far this season?
The managements/boards handling of the obvious Wilson/Smith feud. They took a side, which they shouldn't do. They also, for me, took the wrong side.

21. Biggest improvement so far this season?
The fluidity of the game has improved. We're an attractive club to watch now. This has been coming sice Colin took over, and I think it is still a work in progress, but it is a joy to watch Forest at times, now. In the past, it has seemed like a chore.
