I had that away scarf (and most of those patches). Not one to throw stuff out I probably still have it in the loft somewhere. And no, you can’t have it… 😉
I had a Chris Soames denim jacket covered in those kind of Forest patches. Most of 'em I got from the fishing tackle shop (that was) just before the Main Stand car park.

I had a demin waistcoat that was covered in badges, patches and little bits of paintwork that I'd copied from scarves, magazines, etc. Most of my badges were home made and pressed on a badge making machine at the local adventure playground!

The most prized of my attire was two silk scarfs that were for tying on the wrists - one was the league cup in your photo above, the other was a European Cup one. I loved the ritual of tying them on.

They're all gone now, sadly.

Aye... when you look back and think of all the stuff we had from back in the day. Silk scarves, flags from the Wembley and European trips, badges, patches, hats etc. They all seemed to get lost along the way. Mainly my mother, having a clear out without me knowing. :frantic:

IF only we had kept them all. :(

We’ll have to make sure the club includes some of this kind of thing in the museum when we eventually create it.

And much the same haircut even now…
I spent an evening in his company last July, and yes, he has exactly the same haircut as he did back then.

What is worse, he still looks damn good for his age. I don‘t know what his secret is, but I would like to know it.

It's probably in his genes... that should make it easier to find his dad.
