thought you appreciate this jacket Rocka, had it 20 years made to order from Lot 78 called the George, softest napa leather, proper brass zip and buttons, kept in a shoe bag crumpled up ( that’s the design), paired with selvedge denim with a proper turn up make sure you can see the selvedge, white t-shirt, those who know, know

Aye he did, I think Cloughie sold him not afterwards if my memory serves me correct?

Yes-he left less than 2 months after scoring the winner at Tottenham. He only scored one more goal for
Forest-in the epic 4 game encounter with Fulham in the FA Cup 4th Round.
I thought he was a fairly good player(an especially strong header of the ball).

I went to all those Fulham games with my dad. Apart from the disappointment, the thing I remember most was Allan Mullery getting constant abuse about his missus from the East Stand. 😆

The Fulham defeat was particularly galling,Rocka-instead of a 5th Round trip to Goodison Park,Forest
were forced to endure a Friday night visit to York City(where we drew 1-1).

The first game at Craven Cottage was called off due to a waterlogged pitch-sadly,my brother and I were
at St.Pancras when we found out! We then went to Upton Park to see West Ham v Swindon.
Of course,West Ham played Fulham in the final that year-so I inadvertently saw both finalists play in the
FA Cup that season.

Was in the Bridgford End that day. Don't remember much more than a lot kicking off and the Wolves supporters getting battered everywhere. We took pity on 2 or 3 young Wolves fans. Told them to hide their scarves, keep their gobs shut and stay close to us. We walked them back to the station, so pretty sure they got home safely. Poor sods had no idea what to expect at the WFCG - they hadn't heard of our reputation. I doubt they ever came back. One of the posts on the Wolves forum mentions being 'rescued' by some friendly Forest supporters - could of been one of the lads we helped.

Had a different view back then but so glad those days are behind us.

I was ejected from 'the away end' there once up on a time. Regained entry, found my way to their PopsideTerrace. Stood with the enemy whilst Forest won 2-0.
Filbert Street is the only ground I've been ejected from by the rozzers. Think the copper chose me coz I was the softest target within reach. Got marched around the pitch and down the players tunnel. Was crapping mesen coz a lot of publicity at the time about police brutality.
