As you probably remember,Rocka-we won this game 5-0 but made a stuttering start to the league
season(not playing well and drawing the first 4 games).
Perhaps Cloughie had his mind on the forthcoming Liverpool European Cup game!

We did indeed(1-0)-particularly memorable as I got soaked on an open terrace and ran out of petrol in the centre of London after the game due to a faulty fuel gauge.

I was there in the Shed End with a Chelsea supporting mate, it did sling it down and I was wearing a suit jacket jacket as we were going out in London after the game and getting the last train back.

Think it was one of only three games we lost that season.

I'm still here Crewton
Chelsea fans were allocated the Trent End that day.
There was trouble in the Bridgford End and at Earl’s Court tube station the previous season which seemed
to carry over into the following season.
I sat with my dad on the benches in the East Stand watching the Forest mob below us climbing the wall to get into the Trent End. I'm sure they stopped the game for a while.
