LolI haven't seen that thread for a while. We must be having a good season.

Flared jeans of course, with those 3D cartoon things on them (popular circa 87-88 for a month or so).

Bristol City home (sat 21st) is now Sunday 22nd 3pm
Discounting midweek games because they're all on Sky in some way, the next 5 weekends there are 10 games picked by Sky. They feature:
4 - Fulham
3 - Nottingham Forest
2 - Bristol City, Brentford
1 - Birmingham, Blackburn, Derby, Hull, Leeds, Middlesbrough, Millwall, QPR, West Brom
I think the Huddersfield game has been picked for Sky. Just Wednesday game not televised.5 of the next 6 games are on TV, just the Huddersfield match hasn't been picked (yet). It's great for those of us who have paid for iFollow to watch games, what a waste of money that has been this season...
After that run of games there is Sheep, Fulham and Preston to come next which I bet all 3 of those get picked up for TV coverage, so I'm thinking it will be 1 match out of 9 that is shown on iFollow.
I haven't got a loads of sympathy for people complaining that they can't watch on iFollow. I can never watch on iFollow and I can't listen to BBC radio commentary without paying for iFollow. Welcome to my world, but without having to pay a licence fee.
You live in the UK though, and have the option to get Sky to get all, these games. Stop complaining and buy Sky TV if you really want to watch them.
Don’t want to pay for Sky? Stop whining, or complain to the club - and every other League Club - for selling out to Sky TV.
People who live overseas - for example, in Europe - don’t have that option, as the „blacked out“ games are re-sold on to a variety of broadcast platforms, some that are online only.
IFollow was marketed specifically as a platform for overseas fans to watch - *watch* - Forest matches. That has turned out to be a false promise, given the number of matches where only audio commentary is available.
Half these games won't be played anyway. Coronavirus will bring the season to end early
A couple of the six people who post under all the usernames will probably bite the big one, and a third of us will cease to exist.
Not worth worrying about.
Here’s the thing.
If matches are stopped because of the corona virus and the ban continues into the summer what happens next year?
Logically the clock will stop at the current table positions for promotion/relegation with a mini league for the playoffs.
Just make damn sure we hold our position, at least in the playoffs in case this happens.
Commentary through the app still doesn't work. You have to sign into the website through a browser that doesn't have ad blocker in-order to listen to the commentary. But back on the iFollow service. Think we are all agreed that the iFollow service isn't great. Can the app play commentary yet? I gave up checking.
There are three levels of service:
1. Live in Notts. Paying for content (interviews, highlights, etc). Don't need radio commentary in the main.
2. Live in UK, outside of Notts. Paying for radio commentary and content.
3. Live overseas. Paying for live stream (of non Sky games), radio commentary and content.
Then on top, people can pay an extra £10ish for red button games sometimes.
To my knowledge, we are all paying the same. When I go abroad, I get #3 so I assume that's the case.
We're all playing the same. Overseas users generally have a better service for the same price. It's not relevant in terms of the iFollow service who has the option of subscribing to Sky Sports - that's a different company (and we pay enough for it anyway).
It's not true that iFollow are only targeting overseas fans, otherwise why would block out BBC radio commentary in the UK outside the county? Not sure there even could be much of a future for a media company whose only customers are overseas fans of Football League teams, could there?
There ought be different levels of pricing for the three different services. But there are of loads of things they could do better. Let's hope Forest just get promoted.
Yeah, thanks. I gave up with the app a while back and listened through a browser. There's probably a process every new subscriber goes through where they miss half a game, thinking the commentary feed is broken before they discover it's just the app. A nice sort of onboarding.Commentary through the app still doesn't work. The length of time it has been broken for though...either iFollow have no money to fix it, or they're not bothered. Either way, it's not good.
And then to watch highlights, you can't watch through your browser - you're forced back through the app. Which at that point, just feels like I'm being trolled.
