It's 5 weeks, but as of the 7th February that changes to 4 weeks as the season reaches it's climax ensuring that the actual supporters get f**ked arounf even more when it really matters.

Cheers, appreciate the response. I looked it up before but took me ages to find the info online - it should be included at the bottom of every fixture list.

After reading this thread if Forest do get promoted, I am definitely going up to Nottingham to watch the Forest v Liverpool double header.

Spare a thought for those of us who can’t get to games anymore through age, infirmity or distance; in my case a combination of all three.

It is a wonderful treat to be able to see the greatest team in the world regularly on TV.

I don’t think there is a greater penance than having to listen to matches on the radio. Yes, Colin Fray and co. are great but you get a feeling of dread every time the opposition approach the penalty area. When you can actually see a game you can take a more measured view of the level of threat which makes it much easier on the frayed nerves.

Which reminds me, can I appeal to Forest to please provide more 3,4,or 5-1 wins. These 1-0 or 2-1 scores towards the end of games are shortening my life.

I think it must be age RB; I get exactly the same feelings when listening to the radio, but manage the game better when watching it.

I always have a little bet with myself, on the rare occasions that we go 2 goals up we will ship one towards the end so we inevitably finish with the usual bum-clencher.

Dear Sky
Please move the Bristol City game to a Friday night too. I’m going to Manchester on the Saturday to see friends so can’t make the scheduled game

Re: "This game has been moved for television" (aka boll*cks to Sky) thread

It's true. It's always been more nerve wracking listening on the wireless than watching in person or on the TV.

We are starting to sound like Leeds or Liverpool fans with threads like this.

Dear Sky,

Please move all Leeds Utd games so they're on TV....oh no wait, never mind.

No point trying to get the thread back on track, we’re all getting excited about running the scousers all over town

Do we all get to wear those fawn chequered scarves that 'the lads' of most clubs seem to wear these days ?

I've got one somewhere that belonged to my Nana. Whatever next, head scarves ?

Yes, moving the games does mean a number of season ticket holders can't get to see the game because of prior engagements/work commitments/ etc.
However, the Club do get £100k for every televised game.
So that's all right then...

I wouldn't look at the Standard of Referees thread, if I were you.

I haven't seen that thread for a while. We must be having a good season.

Yay! Another decision that again devalues the iFollow subscription - which looks like increasingly shit value.

The Government should issue a banning order stating "NO professional football matches are to be played on Mondays".
