Pre season friendly #2: Burton Albion

Notcher

Stuart Pearce
If anyone manages to find a vid of the goal it's an absolutely stonking header from the Ciokmeister general. All levels of bendy angles to head it powerfully from an awkward distance

People on Twitter really getting 'concerned' that Taiwo has not scored in the friendlies. FFS give me strength.

Most people on twitter live their lives on there and value everything about the app and the opinion of other twatters. Says it all.

I wouldn't worry about their opinion.
I've started looking at Twitter a bit over the summer for transfer news, and have been exposed to the Forest timeline for the first time in a decade or so.

One regular tweeter had 151k tweets. 151 thousand!

Other than Taiwo the new midfield and attacking players haven’t arrived yet, and Johnson also not played yet. And the first choice wingbacks haven’t played with him yet either. So it’s not remotely the set of players he will be linking up with for the season. His strike partner is Taylor and Ioannou is wing back for god sake. Nonsense to read much into no goals yet.

On the plus side the guys in the back 3 are in place and aren’t conceding.

Bad times. You can't even blame the pandemic.

There's no way they have built up 151k tweets in just 2 years.

I suspect it's down to looking for validation whilst posting from their basement, with empty KFC buckets sprawled around them.

I don’t really understand Twitter even though I know my ICT (not as good as Bonfire though). If the Forest timeline just #nffc or something else entirely? Also, how do you find the number of tweets someone has made?

I wish the club would cover the games in more detail especially if there is no stream. They only tweeted the goal and subs all game. Unless literally nothing happened in the game!

The only result worth watching for in pre season is the game before the start of the season, it is normally a good gauge of where you are at.

But even then it’s not really!
