I'm surprised no one has mentioned Luke Ayling. Been one of Yeovil's better players over the past two seasons. Can play full back or central defence and probably wouldn't require large wages. Also out of contract as well.

Eagles might be a good shout. Bet he'd want decent money though. Burnley might be interested too.

I don't think Burnley fans like Eagles anymore. Although I could be wrong. Hasn't Trotter spent the latter half of the season on loan at Bolton and I believe they have first dibs on him if they want to. He isn't signing a new contract with Millwall I don't think. I can't see Peterborough wanting Rowe to leave. I also believe he'll wait and see whether they get promoted or not as he's there captain as well.

Speaking of players out of contract, and going slightly off topic, I see Stuart Taylor has been released by Reading. Incredible in a 16 year career he has made just 90 appearances.
I know a goalkeeper is a tricky position to fight for, but that a horrendous lack of ambition in my book. Of course, he's made plenty of money doing this and had once in a life time opportunities at Arsenal, City, Villa so I guess he won't lose no sleep over it.

The only out of contract players that really interested me are Craig Gardner (for a long time) and Ben Watson (last few days). Either would be expensive on wages but proper quality
