Be nice to bring in some freebies, and then spend some cold hard cash on a definite identified target (like a proven striker). I can see Connor Wickham leading Sunderland's goals next season, here in the Championship.

There was a few times the other day when he played like he was too old. Strikes me as one of those performances where if nobody knew who he was, nobody would've paid any attention. Ineffective.

We're going after Alex Pritchard now apparently. Much better to go for him, someone who's young and upcoming, like a Burke of 8 years ago.

  • I wouldn't buy any of the keepers. Keep Darlow, De Vries and Evtimov.
  • Danny Potts was a highly rated young LB, worth taking a punt on a free for sure.
  • I'd have Hutchinson back only if his injuries are finally put to bed, although he seems to be losing games at Wednesday due to being sent off recently.
  • I'd quite happily have any of Boyata, Cathcart or Keane at CB.
  • Coady was rated highly a couple of years ago, think he's doing well at Sheffield United.
  • Trotter on a free would be brilliant but he'll have a lot of suitors.
  • Andre Moritz seems to be having a good year on loan for Bolton.
  • Lloyd Dyer's had an excellent season at Leicester, thought he'd get renewed though. Lingard would be good but would have a lot of suitors again.
  • Lalkovic was also another highly rated player, think he's been on loan at Walsall this season and done pretty well. Burke may be past it like nffc13, much quieter than I expected on Saturday, looked half the player that would've got about five assists against us in December if Zigic was any good.
  • I wouldn't mind any of those strikers.
