Yes, of the players we’ve been linked with he’s the only one I feel completely positive about. The Hibs player possibly too.

I think he’d be a great addition. Already feel hopeful for the prospect of Mighten & Johnson on the wings this year, but they are two very young lads - Johnson likely needing time to settle in a superior league to that of last season as Hughton said. Once hes firing, Zinckernagel clearly has final product from the wing too, something we’ve been crying out for since Lolley’s numbers started to dwindle. Above all some depth in that position is crucial , i think this one’s likely after Watford get a replacement in

They might have to tell him he’s not wanted and won’t make the 25 man squad.

He’s been playing centrl midfield again in pre-season apparently. Once there’s no spot for him anywhere in midfield, I hope he comes here.

He was my favourite player in what was a frankly awful Milan side.

My Parma supporting mate's going to be gutted.

Not sure how he'll adapt to the English game though. Who holds the yellow card record for Watford? Whoever it is will be looking over their shoulder.
