MGW and Mangala are totally different positions, and I’d have Mangala starting over Danilo or Dominguez any day. Only Yates comes close.

It's almost 200% profit on a player in a position where we have several options for two spots. We still got Sangare (who I still rate, despite his poor start), Danilo, Yates and Dominguez. He is tidy and got ability, at the same time he does not seem to have the profile that Nuno wants for the two holding players. He does not play progressive passes, he can switch off sometimes in defensive positions or be to clever in transition play - sometimes that slows us down. For me this is a good deal, the problem is poor recruitment and bringing in too many players overall.

With Aguilera flouncing off stage as well, and in a match we named 2 keepers on the bench, we were clearly short enough on numbers.
Fact is he is clearly a saleable asset for us and so cashing in with a fairly decent profit is a good move for the club whether or not Nuno wants the player.
