Thought we were much the better team for the most part today and disappointing not to get the three points. Murillo rightly MoM what a player we've unearthed there and Sangare had a good game I thought.

We look a much better team when Gibbs-White is on the pitch. He has to start every game when fit. So unlucky with that lob volley.
Although MGW still looks off form to me, a few misplaced passes and brushed off the ball very easily a couple of times.

Waiting for him to click into top form and Forest to go on a winning streak.

As much as I thought we played well today, I don’t enjoy MGW coming off the wing. I really love when is in the hole behind the striker, real gives him the whole pitch to play with.

But…I REALLY love that midfield 3 of Mangala Dominguez and Sangare, they’ve properly improved our midfield. So, I guess to shoehorn MGW in he has to play on the wing. Thats probably why we saw Elanga and CHO against Brentford.

MGW will always look better when he has someone mobile in front of him. Chris Wood for all his talents isn’t that player.
That's an excuse.

Wood held the ball up well. MGW gave it away a few times, but also almost scored a goal of the month contender. I still think he's nowhere near his top form, but he's still a valuable member of the team.

There must be a way to play that midfield 3 *and* MGW as the 10.

Never looked like losing, we are certainly a coming of age Premier League team now. Many have said we should aspire to being Palace this seaason, on that showing I would say we are at least that.
New signings all looking like they are adding to the team and some are already un-droppable, although CHO and Elanga Need to lift their game, that will come I am sure.
I actually thought MGW looked alright out wide, he is never going to be an out and out wide man but it does give him the license to wait out there for space to open in the channels and then come in to them to receive a pass.
Toff was reassuringly solid, but the 'best crosser in the team' eluded him today.
Wood was industrious but as a result rarely found himself in the box when he needed to be.

7/10 for Team, sadly though still lacking in actually looking like we might score.

My only issue with today was scoring..like the last few games it is a concern.
If you're going to be picky, we're three goals in our last five games.

Gibbs-White's attempt apart it was our defence which looked most like scoring. With Taiwo out and Brennan gone we do look light in that area.

We look great otherwise. Lovin Murillo, Sangaré and Dominguez.

Despite not winning, I thought today really showed how far we've come, and was incredibly reassuring in terms of where we want to go.

We carved out some great chances and unlike last season, never looked flustered and never just camped on the edge of our box. There was some beautiful one touch passing, some great periods of controlling the pace, and some new players really starting to show their rather tasty talent.

It seems bizarre to say it after a 0:0 draw, but I am so much more confident going forward with this season. There's a new blueprint emerging, a new ethos, and it's one to be quite excited about.

Would like to see Origi start next game if Awoniyi isn't back. But the rest of the team I thought did themselves proud. It's starting to look like a really astute transfer window imo.

Onwards we go.

Keep the faith , everyone. We're so clearly better than last season, with genuine quality and depth, despite injuries already. Getting away points is huge. We're building.

Toffolo has been good in the last 2 games. I've been impressed with him although I know he does nothing that stands out as exceptional.

I think people underestimate how he instinctively blocks shots too. He's saved us a few times in that manner, getting his body in the way.
Yeah, he's a steady 7/10 most games. But has a superb cross on him and is clever with his overlaps. He seems on the same wavelength as his teammates. Would love him to keep improving.

In a back 4, I think he's behind only Aina right now.

Tavares and Neco Williams are wingbacks. Aurier is a right-back or right wingback. Montiel is the same. I think we'll need Toff this season.

Forest today played like a team who've had an upgrade.

Like a snake shedding its skin, we were playing it out from the back in the same way but with more aplomb

...and confident enough to even dally at times, short passes in triangles, we're in no hurry

Didn't see us mess it up once playing this way, and we made some great chances

Still a long way to go, but promising signs

Not been back long. Great fun getting home. Trains cancelled all over the place due to lack of staff, incidents on the train or just cancelled with no excuse at all.
We only had 2 cancelled going back to Peterborough but lots of people were a lot worse off trying to get to Grantham.
I do hope everyone got home OK and that includes the lad pissed out his head singing Stevie Cooper in the door way of a train bound for Brighton.
I hope he lived there.
