This happened the last time we played against a tennis player

or when he scored

Fail to win and we're as good as down. Win and we'll be favourites to stay up.

No pressure, lads!

think this has been highlighted as a must-win since August. If we play like we have been recently, we should have enough.

Have we got eleven fit players?

Bricking it. This fixture will go a very long way to determining our fate IMO.

Play like we have recently, and we should hopefully be able to get the win. But they are capable of some decent results on the road and we'll need to be careful not to give away any set pieces in dangerous areas as James Ward-Prowse is a real threat.

Needless to say, we can't underestimate Southampton and we will need to be at our very best to win. We can't afford another repeat of the Everton or Wolves games.

We will smash these, and do our goal difference a big favour into the bargain.

Over a week since the last match so fingers crossed would love to see 433 with Yates, Kouyate and Danilo in the middle. With Navas, Aurier, Lodi, Felipe, Niakhate, BJ, MGW and Taiwo that’s probably our best XI despite the injury crisis.

We actually beat these f***ers away, and looked quite good doing so, so confidence, aggression and composure should be the order of the day.

You Reds!

Completely disagree especially with the way Leeds are playing. We definitely need some points but who can say how many with the form of the bottom five. Chelsea and Palace are beatable (and who knows what will happen against Arsenal at the City Ground).
We have a brilliant chance of staying up. We're probably going to need a minimum of four points but as I said, with the form of the bottom five, who knows.

But all of this "fail to win this and we're as good as down" talk is nonsense. We have four games left and a brilliant chance of staying up - even if we fail to beat Southampton. A really interesting statistic that someone collated on here was that combining together the results of each of the bottom five's last five matches, the five relegation threatened teams had managed a combined total of three wins from those 25 games. So, are we really realistically expecting Leeds, Leicester, Everton and Southampton to suddenly go on winning runs?! Especially with the difficult run in that each of them have. It's not going to happen.
