Letting Toney cheat so he could score on his return is the equivalent of allowing a toddler in hospital win at Ludo because it will raise his spirit. It's fuc king wrong.

Toney was banned for 8 months for breaking the laws of football. Then, in his return, in the first 20 minutes of football, the cnut goes and breaks the laws of football again. Us fans are the mugs who are punished. He should be given a retrospective ban again, otherwise it's sending out a dangerous message.

In light of the media love-in for him, has the bloke ever publicly displayed any contrition for his offences?
I'm happy to be corrected, but I'm pretty sure that I've only read that he felt unfairly treated for something that he later decided is "an addiction".

The fact that we were naive / gormless is absolutely 100% irrelevant

Toney moved the ball from the referee's marker & he also moved the referee's marker to suit

The goal should not have stood

Anybody disagree with this?
Aye... I wonder what woulda happened if it had been Man Utd or Liverpool on the receiving end. 🤔

Thing is Toney will be off at the first opportunity nailed on, they’ll spunk the money on tripe and drop out of the premier league and back into lower league mediocrity as quick as you can say BET365.

And when that happens I’ll laugh until I shat mesell.

Not read last few pages so apologies if it's been mentioned but Forest have written to the PGMOL about Toneys goal.

Edit: not letting me post links but a quick Google does the trick.

Not sure if there's much point in that other than giving them a nudge to say, look that's another iffy thing that's gone against us.

IRT Toney's moving the ball - that's fine, part of the game, every player is likely to try moving it a bit to gain a wee advantage. The absolute hideous bit for me that he should be hung for is covering up by moving the foam.

A bit like betting accounts in false names - sneaky and dirty.

Maybe they'll write back and ask why our wall was in front of the sprayed line?

Not sure at which point we formally become pen pals.

Actually just not sure what the point is, if they act like they do with everything else they'll take ages to look at it, have a bit more of a discussion and then decide its a penalty to Man U.

They spoke to the ref after the match and he said it’s not for VAR to call that offence out But for the on field official.. so toney waits till the refs looking another direction, moves the ball and the foam and just gets away with it?
Surely this is one of those offences that can be punished retrospectively? Yes it doesn’t Help us but it’d make me feel better if he had another ban for cheating..dick head.

It’s fine. Let’s just distract the ref from now on and move the ball forward 15 yards while he’s not looking. Perfectly reasonable.

It could also been seen as pointing out how crap VAR and the whole process is so they go and review it and put something in place which is fair and works.

They're not stupid. They'd have stopped it happening in the first place.
This.

So naive from us, if that would have been rat faced Fernández at United he'd have been in the refs face.... i didn't watch it so who the f*** was our captain and why didn't he do his job properly?

He moved a little bit of the foam (a crafty thing to do), but the main mark is still there, our players and the referee should have been more switched on.

In the wall I think only Omabamadele is looking that way when he does it. Even the ref is being distracted by Brentford players. In the heat of the moment, it would have been easy to miss it happen with the concern on making sure you do your defensive job, without having to check that the kick taker is not cheating, because in theory there is a whole team dedicated to that

Wonderfully balanced from the beeb as per. Forest have written to complain, now here’s two chumps who disagree.

Nuno has had 2 point-losing pieces of bullshine in 4 premier league games. He and the club are perfectly entitled to kick off. Make some noise. Not having this turn the other cheek, take your medicine crap.
