By being a pessimist I am delighted when my pssimism is proven to be ... pessimistic.I think you have been fairly consistent for a couple if seasons on that, to be fair.

Wasn't agreeing with the decision. But it's not as though Moussa had never played full back.Bailey v Niakhete when youve got Toffolo??
Wasnt just me that missed Tavares either, CHO was totally anonymos.
This is absolutely spot on. NES has had little chance to mold this team with players he has brought in. The stupid mistakes we keep making has nothing to do with him. It's completely on the individual players.I think we should be questioning the players more so the Manager. It’s the individual school boy mistakes that are costing us points, not the defensive structures etc.
The players need to take a good hard look at themselves
I think the size of the deduction will determine whether we go down or not.I am not so confident.
I think the points deduction - and I’m sure there will be one - will be harsh enough to drop Forest into the bottom three, come the end of the season.
We should have switched earlier (Dominguez) but can't moan about not bringing on a striker when we don't have another.Tonight was a pretty bad night at the office for Nuno. The lack of subs killed us when we clearly had no momentum and a half cooked Big T completely out his feet yet he decides to wait until United score in the 88th minute to bring on 3 subs.
Dare i say the Big Man won't be happy about that
We had the kid, and tbf i'd like to see more of him, but then Nuno sees him in training. We should have switched earlier (Dominguez) but can't moan about not bringing on a striker when we don't have another.
He'd have to be pretty special at 18.We had the kid, and tbf i'd like to see more of him, but then Nuno sees him in training.

Pretty sure he had an eye on Saturday. Dominguez has been like roadrunner recently. Probably needed the break. We should have switched earlier (Dominguez) but can't moan about not bringing on a striker when we don't have another.
While done, I think Awoniyi was kept on because he would be most likely to convert if something fell his way. The kid is just that.Kid or no kid it was clear our striker was barely functioning. Meanwhile Yatesy was completely done and Danilo disappeared by the 65th min. If his plan was to get to extra time and reassess then he would have inevitably had to bring the kid on. Poor.
I can totally see the logic in keeping Awoniyi on to get minutes in his legs. I can even say fair play to saving Dom for the Liverpool match.Tonight was a pretty bad night at the office for Nuno. I can see the benefit in keeping Taiwo on to get minutes into his legs but it was clear after at the latest 75-80 mins he was totally shot and needed subbingI can totally see the logic in keeping Awoniyi on to get minutes in his legs. I can even say fair play to saving Dom for the Liverpool match.
But I am slightly bemused at not injecting some energy into the side earlier. It was pretty obvious we needed fresh legs.
Careful now.I don't think he's improved us a great deal and has played a big part in our last two defeats imo. I know it's not his fault he is not Steve Cooper, but it's time for him to start delivering because finishing 16/17th before deductions wasn't the reason we appointed him because I'm sure it's something Coops would have managed anyway

Think you might have won the award for being the first to call for his head, 2 months in advance!I think the all important judgement for Nuno is, does he stick with what we're doing currently, can he make it work and if not, how quickly can he change it and how effective can that change be?
Make no mistake, we had chances against United and were in the game, been in a few of the games we've lost but Villa and Newcastle were great examples. We had a spell either side of half time in those games where we looked dangerous but because of defensive frailties, we left ourselves with too much work to do, not just to win but to get back equal.
I think Cooper had it right at the end of last season and start of this, where we would just sit back, keep it tight and then hit teams on the counter. That requires the defence and midfielders to shut up shop though. We don't really concede through open play that much, but set pieces are this season's away record. That HAS to be address. You can park the bus, but you are going to give away corners and free kicks around your box and you have to be able to defend them. You also have to be able to use them when it's your turn to take them too.
I'd f*** Nuno off in the summer, regardless of what happens if I'm honest. Having had a couple months, it was the only decision we could make to sack Steve but I don't see Nuno as being someone that is going to advance us beyond where Steve had us. I also don't think he fancies the Championship if we go down.
I know it's only been two months, I just don't think see it being a long term thing with him at the helm.
I think we all pretty much noticed that the side were struggling by 65 mins. I mentioned it in the matchday thread and I've seen a few others this morning. If we all saw it then it begs the question why Nuno didn't. It corresponded with the same time Utd started to control the game.Kid or no kid it was clear our striker was barely functioning. Meanwhile Yatesy was completely done and Danilo disappeared by the 65th min. If his plan was to get to extra time and reassess then he would have inevitably had to bring the kid on. Poor.
