He's coming off the back of managing in the Sportswash League as well. FFS, this stinks.

Hope this isn't true

I've accepted that Cooper is on his way but at least give him the home game to go out with a win and give the fans the chance to say goodbye

I’d rather stick with Cooper.

I can understand EM being a bit wary but this seems to be swapping defensive uninspiring football for the same, except the latter is without the fan connection and the optimism of us improving.

There’s no revolution here, not even evolution.

Disappointing. I’ll look forward to the splurge on Portuguese mendes players come January.

I can't see any strikers on that list that are both good and realistic with my limited foreign footballing knowledge. Any recommendations from those more in the know? Don't say Ronaldo. 🤣

Wonder how much of that is to do with the increase in quality (relatively) of his Al-Ittihad side compared to his Wolves team?
Oh massively - but he had the same thing at Spurs but couldn't make it work for him. What was interesting was that even with that teams dominance over most of the rest of the division, they still had an average of 49% possession so he's clearly got counter attacking football as his guiding principle.

I really don't hate the appointment. As most have said, I wish it wasn't at Coopers expense but I can see the logic in it. He likes ball playing centre halves, he likes wingbacks, he's brought teams of mercenaries together into a team and consistently finished in the top 10 of the EPL with Wolves.

That being said I could see the logic in the Shelvey and Wood signings and look how that turned out.

Mendes is his agent right? DT was saying he was back in the fold not too long ago.
EM best be praying to the football Gods we win on Saturday, otherwise things will turn TOXIC like we have not seen for a good few years.

I will make this point & it'll probably be my last but let's not cut off our nose to spite our face. I am not talking about a managerial change I am talking about the reaction to it. I want the best for this club not individuals and I will back the new guy whoever it is to get the job done. Demanding toxicity is childish & it will serve nobody well apart from the teams around us.

If it is Nuno replacing Cooper, I think that's a good decision because he is a top manager for me & his style is suited to the personnel we have.

Demanding toxicity

No one is demanding it. Nobody wants it to be that way.

And besides I'm sure I've read on here the atmosphere is immutable, so no need to worry is there.

Where has it been demanded?

Anyway, Forest seem to be managing to be crap, whoever is coaching the team, so maybe just do without a coach?

The players can decide themselves what to do, how to play, and who gets in the team.

I mean, according to some, it could hardly get any worse, could it?
There was a team in Khakastan(?) who sacked their manager after 4 games or something, went on to win the league without one.
Anyway, another vote for the thumbs down.
