I echo the thought Nuno won't see the start of next season on Trentside. Will that impact our FFP standing, having to pay him off and get another guy in?

Compensation for fired managers does count towards FFP.
But it's a drop in the ocean compared to transfer fees.

Does not surprise me, we are 1 win in what 10+ games in all competitions?
In that run we took 1 point from Brentford and Luton, I imagine EM is furious & rightfully so.
He has free reign to sack him too, there is no fan attachment like there was with Cooper.
I’m almost certain that anything less than 3 points vs Palace and he is gone.
That 1 win and 2 draws coincides with the period of uncertainty following the notification of the FFP charge, The African League of nations when a number of players were missing and some crazy referee decisions. I'm not saying he's doing a great job, but he has had some things to deal with in that period.

I agree but I don't think EM will see it like that

Important, must win game for Forest coming up on Saturday... so disruptive story appears in the media to further demoralise an already demoralised squad.
It was as predictable as the sun rising this morning, and setting this evening.

Each game that we play as it comes along is really a need to win game as we probably won't win some of the games that will be seen as easier to win.

I think that the Palace game is definitely the first game this season that realistically is "Must Win".
Lose this one coming on the back of the 4-point deduction, the capitulation at Luton, and the abysmal run of results we have experienced since the initial "new manager bounce" and I think it will make it nigh on impossible to claw our way back out of thedrop places.

I'm just hoping that whoever drafted Steve Cooper's 3-year contract (announced Oct 22) and Nuno's 2.5-year contract (announced Dec 23) has included watertight break clauses.

Nuno may choose to walk himself, but this approach could get expensive if the reports are accurate and it's not exactly promoting long-term stability within the club.

I quite like NaNu NaNu, wish he'd smile and open up more. Not sure he did at his other clubs though.

The problem isn't the manager, start looking on that green area between the stands.

Don't disagree with that mate but he's made some baffling team selections, get your best players on the pitch isnt the worst philosophy in the world, he hasnt done that & we lack for any kind of consistency of performance. The foot on the brakes at Lutons on him too.

I agree with the notion he doesnt want to be here, he looked all in at Wolves, so he has it in him.

Don't think Ive ever been so indifferent with a manager at Forest. The next 9 games need to be something special to change that.

Whether it's true or not, Marinakis has created a culture at the club where rumours like this aren't hard to believe.

I just expect him to be looking round for new managers the second we hit any bump, because he has form with that both here and at Oly. He's not really a man to endure stuff, I mean he didn't even give Awoniyi more than a few games before he decided to sack the man who scouted him lol.

This claims we offered him a 3-year deal, but who knows...

Honestly, I think Nuno has made some baffling decisions, hasn't really shown himself to be that much better than Cooper, and also doesn't have the fan connection or credit Cooper did. But I also think you've got to be out of touch to think our problems are down to the manager, and that said position is where priority changes should be being made.

Maybe Marinakis just saw it as an opportunity if true, but maybe he should start appreciating people more and building a more together culture at the club, instead of this rather gluttonous one.

Weak leader, weak club. Time to stop blaming others and look inwards Evangelos, regardless of how true this is. No Forest manager has actually lost the club points which we already had this season. Maybe start there with the people who have.
