Apparently the assistant will be a guy called Roger Harris

Just to remind us of the time the club f**ked itself up the arse getting rid of scooper for Nuno.

Way to go.

Bringing in a manager who does not get goals when we don't score any.

Yeah, but in his defence he only had Harry Kane.

We've got Chris Wood.
The footballing equivalent of thinking you’ve got a date with Claudia Schiffer, only for it to turn out to be Bella Emberg.

His sides don't score many goals and have the tendency to go on streaks, whether that be unbeaten or winless. The good news is that wins come in groups, with lots of back to back wins,

18/19:
7th - 57 points - 16W 9D 13L
First season is very impressive in terms of league position, a trip to Wembley too in semi of the FA Cup.
Won 3 in a row 3 times and also had an unbeaten run of 6 with 4 wins and 2 draws
Strangely seemed to not perform well against the dross in the league. 2 of Huddersfield's 3 wins that season came against Wolves.
The season also Included a run of 5 losses in 6 games, 2 of those against relegated Cardiff & Huddersfield (I wonder what EM would have made of that?)

19/20:
7th - 59 points - 15W 14D 9L
No doubt his second season in the Prem is his most impressive when you look at the stats and where the wins came from, doing the double over City most notably. 8 of the 9 league losses came against teams who finished 9th and above.
2 unbeaten runs of 11 & 8 games, with a total of 10 wins and 9 draws.
A European Quarter Final that season too. If we can get more of this that would be dreamland.
However the season started with just 2 wins from the first 11 games, further showing evidence that his teams seem to be prone to streaks good or bad.

20/21:
13th - 45 points - 12W 9D 17L
Wolves only scored 36 league goals that season, which also included a run of 2 wins in 14 games (funnily enough will be the same as our run if we win on Saturday).

Not going to bother with his season at Spurs, it was a disaster. Seems like it was a continuation of Wolves in 20/21. Lets just pray that does not continue with us.

Espirito Santo was never even on my radar to be honest but to be fair his CV is more than decent. It's not like we've swapped Cooper for Gerrard is it?

I just hope for his sake as much as the team that he gets a win Saturday as unfortunately he'll be up against it from the beginning from a decent chunk of the support.

Try A Little Tenderness
If we start losing against Bournemouth you know the crowd will start belting out the Cooper's songs. I'll be one of em.
Other than being counterproductive, I'm not sure what that will achieve mate. Staying behind the team in its quest for three valuable points is hugely more important than indulging in pointless lamentation over something that won't be changed.

Tinpot club behavior from us.

We're just another soulless club now with no other identity than a bunch of journeymen managed by a nameless face. They're all interchangeable, and nothing particularly matters.

The only measurement of success now is financial and league position, and if manager X fails to deliver that, we'll get in manager Y, and neither will care about Forest or our fans. No bigger picture, no wider collective.

As mentioned before, he'll get no time from me which isn't particularly his fault and I can see that's unfair as he's a victim of poor circumstances, but that's the way it is. Nothing less than a convincing win against Bournemouth is acceptable.

If fans want their club to be in the Premier League then it must be managed like that. PL revenues for clubs are 150m+ a year, it is not a place for emotional decisions. If fans want to support a club that concerns itself with the more wholesome values they need to drop a few leagues to find that

2 Weeks Away
Did MGW play under Nuno or was he one of the managers that weren't particularly fond of him? I get he's grown a lot since his wolves day, but I'd also hope any bad feelings are a thing of the past.

(Note: I may be completely wrong in which case this post is pointless)
