Hmm, hope it gets sorted either way sooner rather than later, don't want it dragging on and then we do another final day special.
Agreed, would like this one done with the next couple of days.Hmm, hope it gets sorted either way sooner rather than later, don't want it dragging on and then we do another final day special.
According to a recent report by Alfredo Pedulla via Fichajes, Liverpool’s transfer strategy is taking an intriguing turn this winter. The Reds are setting their sights on Fluminense’s central defender Nino, a 26-year-old Brazilian talent who has shone brightly in South America’s top football tiers. It’s clear that Jurgen Klopp is looking to bolster his defensive line, especially with Joel Matip’s injury sidelining him for the season. As Nino has been pivotal in leading Fluminense to the Copa Libertadores final and the Club World Cup, his acquisition could be a game-changer for Liverpool.
Could be BS, no idea.
I’d hoped we already had this one pretty much done. Liverpool were supposedly after sangare too, so hopefully you are right.I think it's BS. Liverpool have Van Dijk,Konate,Gomez and Quansah(whose coming through the ranks and is excellent).
Have a couple of other CBs in the pipeline as well so I think this may be agent talk.
Absolute joke of a move on his part.
Won't be anything to do with it. The suggestion of an FFP breach is for a previous period.I'm trying to ignore the nagging voice in my head that is saying today's rumours about FFP might have scuppered this deal. Hopefully I'm just overthinking it.

Maybe we can no longer afford him.Very strange one. He seemed ideal.
£5m seems like an absolute steal and I struggle to believe that he's actively chosen Russia over the PL -however nice St Petersburg is.
Maybe Nuno has somebody else in mind? Maybe our scouts were unconvinced on his showing in the CWC v City where he had a bit of a stinker?
Sounds like a pay us up front or you don't get him ploy - lets see what happens...Apparently everything was agreed but we offered to pay in installments and Zenit offered less but straight up front.
‘Everything was agreed’ – Deal to take player to Nottingham Forest collapses, PL side negotiated for a month - Sport Witness
For the past two months, multiple claims coming out of the Brazilian media had insisted that Fluminense’s Nino was expected to join Nottingham Forest in the winter market. Last week, O Tempo reported the Brazilian club were set to part ways with the centre-back and the Tricky Trees were the big...sportwitness.co.uk

Might also be that a different shape is preferred - you don't need as many CB's if you only plan on using two at a time, or think that you have a midfielder capable of dropping in when needed (Yates).Nuno may well prefer another CB target.
Franz Yatesenbauer will become Forest‘s Sweeper-Midfielder.…you don't need as many CB's if you only plan on using two at a time, or think that you have a midfielder capable of dropping in when needed (Yates).
See Conor Coady at Wolves: I forget where he played previously but Nuno converted him to an England capped sweep.Franz Yatesenbauer will become Forest‘s Sweeper-Midfielder.
