Felipe clearly is coming to the end with his knee issues.
Niakhate is a weird one. I personally think he is our best centre back but not sure Cooper does. At AFCON.
McKenna's contract runs out at the end of the season, likely moved on in January, sadly.
Boly is at AFCON and his contract is done at the end of the season.
Omobamidele is still a big ? Maybe a January loan.
Murillo is clearly one for the present and future.
Worrall I can't see going anywhere while Cooper is here.

Seems about right.

Felipe is class but no use if he can't get fit, sad to see it but it's the truth of the matter. Arsenal back in May was the last time we saw him play for us and that's getting up to 6 months away.

McKenna and Worrall aren't good enough but would probably do if they weren't playing together. Someone near the top of the CH would probably get McKenna or he'd probably be able to go back to Scotland and one of the OF would sign him. But that's probably about his level.

Joe gets a free pass for me because he loves the club, though that perhaps might not extend, ability wise, to more than a back up role.

AFCON is going to push us down 2 of our 1st choice CBs which will leave us short. We will also lose Kouyate who has played there as cover before too.

Despite all the hype about Murillo, he is still incredibly inexperienced, there will no doubt come a time where his form dips or something and he needs to be taken away from the team for a while, he's a young lad in a new country and maybe not even fully settled yet. May be worth being cautious and consider him as similar to the Norwich lad in that it might not be wise to rely on them too much at this stage of their careers.

For me this depends on the Felipe situation which I suppose isn't good. When it's AFCON with no Felipe too we are left with McKenna, Worrall and the two young lads, which doesn't look good on paper.

I'm also not wholly sold on Moussa. He's quick and the long throw is a weapon but he also looks prone to silly errors, like the hand ball vs Newcastle, and the red card.

We need strikers ahead of more CBs but if this improves the squad it isn't a bad thing.

Niakate still has a lot to prove for me. Hasn't had any sort of long run in the team, which hasn't always been his fault, but to me always feels like he has a major and stupid mistake in him.
Agree with that. Just looking at him he looks like he should be brilliant but can't seem to go through a game without f***ing up.

If everyone was fit he wouldn't make my first choice XI whether we play a 3 or a 4 at the back.

Niakhate hasn't had much of a run of games this year at all. Towards the end of last season he was one of the first names on the teamsheet for me. Not least because of those throws.
