We're adamant that we are signing a top DM aren't we.

Nottingham's dirty secret
It could also suggest that we're about to get an influx of cash.

Don't know much about this guy, I'm also on the Fofana hype train.
As long as we get a decent striker as well, and realising Elanga & BJ can't really play in the same team, I'm suddenly.....

Brennan who?

John Robertson
Jeez.

I'm feeling more confident that we won't be falling back on Ndidi with all these new links.
ross is just stringing the fanbase along with all these links, then he will do a switcheroonie at the last minute and bring in .......the ever popular nobody, who we counted on plenty of times during the nd era

Yeah I get the feeling this isn’t a backup for Fofana / Sangare but a supplement if we sell Brennan.

Clearly feels like we have identified midfield as the area we need to take more control, which I completely agree with
Nah, just another option / bargaining chip I reckon. Can't see us buying two quality CMs when we need strength in other areas - especially up front without Brennan.

Very different players so seems like an odd bargaining chip to me.

We might not end up with 2 but if we lose Frueler we may want someone who can up our game in dynamism on the ball.

I guess a decent comparison might me Alexis McAllister, can play DM but acts more as a deep lying play maker, hence why Liverpool want a destroying type. As do we

Fofana feels like he'll fill an obvious gap in the team or replace/upgrade Kouyate if he goes to Saudi.

I think Dominguez only happens as well if we sell Frueler for a decent price.

Sauce salad?
Hmmm, don't know much about him but another with plenty of top flight experience at a good age. Someone mentioned Mac Allister - he probably kept him out of the world cup squad?

Seems alright if we're looking for a pure destroyer but the passing stats aren't great so he won't help us move the ball any better.

That's if I've understood that graphic correctly of course which isn't a given.

Being in the top 30% of any statistic is a good place. I’d suggest he fits the mould of what we thought Frueler would be

Depends on the type of passing too, Bologna play a lot of balls over the top:

"He has a significantly higher pass completion rate with Argentina and is more focused on short passing and ball retention, rather than providing long balls directly to the final third."
