Impressive.

And it would dwarf County's tinpot ground too.

Seen this floating around on Twitter and I think it's a fantastic piece of work.

It's only a university project but just shows what a little imagination and a lot of skilled design work can do.

This is scandalous. This Chris Allwood character is dressed up as Hannibal Lecter. How can the club contemplate working with a mass murderer. I shall be writing to the NEP and RN forthwith. Disgraceful.

I love the way it makes Meadow Lane look like a training pitch on the overhead.

The Sadpie forum went apoplectic when it was revealed that the Murder Lane ground had been literally wiped off the map when the proposed Trent Regeneration plans were published a few years ago.

It would go into complete meltdown now if they saw these plans.

Also, rather hilariously, in the first release of Apple's "Maps" application on the iPhone and iPad, the Meadow Lane ground was nowhere to be seen, whereas the mighty City Ground and Trent Bridge were there in all their glorious technicolor!

Didn't a lecturer in this subject come on here in the not too distant past and ask for our ideas?

Looks as if the students really got the idea. For me it is brilliant.

I think it's labelled as Nottingham Rugby Club now :D

I do admit, if I worked for Apple's Maps group I'd amend the data to label it "Forest Reserves Stadium".

That'd have 'em choking on their Worthers.

Ha ha, I wish I'd seen that.

I'm surprised the Sadpie-Mad lot didn't organise a mass boycott of Apple products, as they threatened to do to the Guardian when a journo on there initially exposed Munto as a scam.

I actually really enjoyed reading that. Though the pictures confuse me!

I liked his talk of social obligation as well, what I would like to see is an attempt to use a Nottinghamshire based company whenever possible.

Think this guy may have a pretty useful career ahead of him. This is what we should be looking at if we had to move..

The club should be in touch with this bloke. What a fantastic looking structure and with the potential for the club to progress in the decades to come. I love the City Ground and would be loathed to leave, but this development would be very exciting. It's particularly interesting because it looks so distinctive from so many of the legoland stadia that have shot up recently. You know who I mean.
It will probably never happen, I know, but if we do go for a new build this is the way to go.

Agreed on all counts. Hadn't considered the Eastcroft site. That or the Eastside area closer in to Town would be the only areas I could consider a move to.
