As i'm sure you are aware we have been linked with numerous amounts of strikers that could if signed, break our current transfer record.

The fact that i don't know who it may be is irrelevant, the rumour that we about to make a signing that shows intent, is in my opinion worth keeping an eye on.

So, to summarise:

You're not ITK "none of this ITK bollox, i claim to be IKN (I know nothing!", you don't know who we're signing, when they're signing, but you do think it might be a striker, and that it also might be for a fee that breaks our previous transfer record.

Whilst defending yourself, you add "As i'm sure you are aware we have been linked with numerous amounts of strikers that could if signed, break our current transfer record. The fact that i don't know who it may be is irrelevant."

I predict between that now and September, we'll sign at least one more player - and this pattern will quite possibly continue with occasional gaps until A) The zombie apocalypse finally happens and it turns out they all prefer cricket, or B) The winner of football is finally decided and so we all get bored and move on to something else..

Sorry i fail to see your point, i did say it would be a striker, not may be a striker, i did say it would break our current transfer record, not may break the record.
I was replying to the chap who called 'total bolox' when i said we would make a record signing, and that i didn't know who the player in question was, we can all speculate.
When i say we have been linked to numerous amount of strikers, i was alluding, to the likes of Hooper, Austin, Rhodes, etc..
If i knew 100% whom is was, i would post it. :)

Not one for wind-ups, just a forum member passing comments on what transfer news i have heard, just the same as i would like to hear from others who may wish to post any info that they may have. How one takes the info, i.e with a pinch of salt, as a wind-up, or even as gospel is completely up to them.
