Another solid signing. He can be a real menace and can bring others into the game effectively. Also proven at this level. Isn't this what people were crying out for? I'd rather him over Adams personally.

100% over Adams for me too. His all around game is much better and has more of a football brain I'd say.

Was surprised to learn Maupay is younger than Adams too because it feels like Maupay has been about for ages. Hopefully we confirm the signing on his birthday tomorrow.

Talk sport commentary on the villa v Everton game, they said about Everton going for him. Didn't catch all of it so not sure if they were suggesting he'd be a good buy for them or that they had actually made an approach, no mention of us though.

I actually wouldn't be surprised now if Surridge ends up going on loan somewhere.

Assuming everything goes to plan, we've got for the two front spots.. Maupay, Awoniyi, Dennis, Johnson and Surridge.
I'm not counting Taylor because he's shit and that's Lyle, not Dale. Dale is alright.

In a 20 man squad and with two up front, you'd probably have two strikers. I like Sam but we've spent money on Dennis and Awoniyi so we'll want to use them, Brennan is the golden boy and the same will apply with Maupay as with Dennis/Awoniyi.

That kind of leaves Sam out but I think if he was available for loan, he would get a really good loan to a Championship team.

This is my opinion too, I actually like Maupay as a player but it does worry me abit how many were bringin in now.

I know it’s a squad game due to the 5 subs but it’s going to be very hard to merge this many players into a team.

I think it's brilliant business for us if those 4 sign when you consider that all of them combined is not far off the fee we offered for MGW alone.
