You can always spot a manager out of his depth when he starts talking about players being "defensively better" when they are blatently attacking players.

Pretty sure Hughton used to do the same.

It's not like England are a good pressing side either so he isn't even talking about pressing. The whole point of a back 3 is so that your attacking wide players don't have to track back as much.

Pretty amazing how pretty much zero words are recognisable to modern English.

I know it’s a completely different language but you still recognise bits from other languages normally.

Even Old English spoken by the Anglo Saxons you can recognise loads of words.
