Nat Jackson Fawaz Interview

Well done Natalie. You do get the feeling that Fawaz is incapable of mental evolution though. You could put the most stunning, revelatory point across to him and it wouldn't truly register. He'd struggle to run a chip shop.

Decent interview.

It's clear that Fawaz is totally single-minded. He simply refuses to acknowledge anyone else's point of view.

The statements he made about drawing a line under the past and committing to implementing a proper structure from hereonin places him firmly in last chance saloon, mind.

Makes me laugh how he tried to use as a positive the fact that we were bottom of the Championship 4 years ago and we're still bottom, he hasn't taken us down to League 1. Quality.

initially watched the edited down one but full interview is ridiculous, do not get what he thought he was gonna achieve by doing a interview.

can see why collymore walked, after that debacle of a interview he has to go, like a petulant 15 year old.

the thing is protest are not gonna get him out, he seems more than happy to be hated and could not care less. the only hope is someone meets his demands

Best thing to come out the interview is fazza had Stans pants down on the Tuesday and thought Nat was gonna be the usual push over..... she had him by the balls...... you could see him thinking "whats this shit? I didnt agree to this"

I did mention Nigel's mistakes

Ha

It is all irrelevant now anyway. Regardless of the past, we need someone to come in and treat it like an actual business. We've had two approaches where the owners make decisions based on the heart and neither have worked out sadly.

The club needs completely transforming in a commercial sense which has been criminally overlooked since...well...ever. Professional people need to come in at all levels and make the club a completely professional outfit - something it's not been for a long time. We are so far behind even our neighbours and that will only change once people come in and build the club as a business.

Fawaz absolutely has to go :)

I think she was annoyed because Fawaz didn't end every sentence with the word "Nataleh"

That kind of disrespect doesn't go down well with our Nat

I am convinced he is modelling himself on Lord Summerisle from The Wicker Man.

Hence all the managers and staff being sacrificed.

Read a lot of comments on various social media slating Fawaz for blaming everything on everyone else such as our managers etc.

Bizare because I thought that's exactly what a big chunk of those same fans did too for years

This whole mess is SOD/Billy/Pearce/etc.s fault isn't it?

An overbearing ruler who comes to blows with a staunch Scottish idealist and ends up sacrificing said Scot for interfering too much in the affairs of his rule?

Nah, too far fetched mate.

I don't know what's worse, us having to endure Natalie Jacksons AWFUL interviewing or being fed the same lies by Fawaz as if they were something new.

People praising Jackson for giving Fawaz a bit more of a hard time, well that's what she should have been doing all along. That's what the Nottingham Post are too afraid to do, ask the pressing questions, so finally after 6 or however many years she's finally actually done one decent pressing interview.
Annoying Natalie Jackson voice aside, Fawaz strikes me as a man that when pressured into doing something, rather than cave to demand he'll be even more stubborn.

Seriously the Nottingham Post are utter garbage, with the access they have to Fawaz, nobody has questioned him on Djebbour and Abdoun, the fact that we've seen important staff leave within months of arriving. There's also no insider questions into the management styles of previous managers, his part in certain transfers and the recent takeovers.
It leaves people to speculate and come to the wrong conclusion, whilst the Nottingham Post trot along with their non stories and stating the obvious articles.

She must be the worst journalist on the face of the planet.

Asking 10 questions at a time and then asking another 10 when he tries to answer them.

I'd be happy if we locked both of them in the same room and threw away the key.

I agree with the sentiment, but I think you'll only ever get one go at an interview like that with Fawaz.

All the more frustrating she didnt nail him on the numerous occassions he contradicted himself.

Box office, but will she get another go at hitting him with a sledgehammer? Probably not.

I love the fact that things have got so shit we're now blaming a reporter for not being harsh enough in her interviews with the owner over the last few years.

You couldn't make this stuff up.

The interview was that bad at times I actually even felt sorry for Fawaz.

I've got a feeling he's about to pull an absolute blinder and lead forest to the prem.
The blinder was breadcrumbing Stans ego to a meeting then having his pants down and nulifying any affect he could have on a protest.

"send me your CV" oof thats brutal.

well played fazza, well played...

I am taking over the team now. Gary and Jack will be returning to their usual duties.

To let the fans know, I am a little bit like Alex Ferguson and Johan Cruyff. I will not say how many years but we are looking for 5 stars on the shirt.

I believe we can do it.

Whilst it would be nice id the local journalists actually did a bit of journalism, they are hardly going to bite the hand that feeds them. They are more than happy to toe the line for an easy life. Why would the EP ask awkward, searching questions when they can far more easily just rehash twitter rumours to fill the column inches?

His whole manner throughout that reminded me of Tony Blair when being asked about WMD's.

Exactly was all a complete waste of time.

The only thing Nat did was adopt a firm, disapproving tone to her voice.

Nothing note worthy was said and think this was only done as a reaction to the failed takeover and Fawaz trying to come out of it looking a bit better but not achieving anything.

The carry on continues!
