At this moment in time from what I've seen (I'm only in Long Eaton in the early afternoons), there's friendly banter, mainly from folk that have known each other for a long time.
Yes, that was usually my experience when I lived there Rocka, mainly banter but it occasionally went a bit further, generally with people I didn't know or knew that well.

One of the last times I went out there I had a freshly made pizza

Says more about them than you.

You could have insulted me in a number of ways or done your best James Madison impression with your fists, but that pizza is going in my mouth nowhere else.

Am I right in thinking that Wheatsheaf was a big place for gigging Rocka?

I swear I played there several times back in the 00's and early 10's, and it was soft as a bollock, really friendly place.

Been a while though, so might be getting places mixed up.

He'd waited twenty minutes for it to be made! If nothing else you've got to hit the target...

Alf I'm sadly Long Eaton born and bred and the Wheatsheaf was a bit of a rockers type pub along with the Hole in the Wall and my local the Turks Head which could be very unwelcoming if you weren't in the know. The Wheatsheaf is now the Stumble Inn and do have bands on but sadly the ale is not so good. And of course the Hole in the Wall and Turks have both gone.

Nice one Alf, yes it still is a gig pub. (y)

Edit: Trev beat me to it.

Maybe if we are allowed to play both in his place it might be ok

Call it "double energy" and maybe we'll be given a point back if we lose.

Doing his bit with another goal (involved in Danilo's too)... Keep it/us up please Morgan.

Interesting his goal came from a corner, in that he wasn't taking it and he provided another target in there - decent header. Hope that continues, but perhaps depends on whether Reyna is on the pitch from one side at least.

Newcastle apparently making MGW one of their top summer targets
Hopefully we have been looking at a potential replacement since the day we signed him but this is Forest, so we'll probably replace him with Paul Evans when he does eventually leave.

MGW would absolutely shine in a better team, and for that reason his value is 200m. I'd advise anyone buying to ensure such a cost does not impact their FFP too, because you'll likely be deducted points. Oh wait......

Newcastle can’t afford him, neither can Arsenal who’s are linked.

They’d need to put north of £50M on the table to even have a conversation with us.

He walks in that Arsenal team as well.

Unfortunately that would represent good value. Guimaraes is rumoured to be leaving for £100M to City or PSG so if they could snag MGW as a replacement that still represents £40M in their coffers.

He's had a fair bit of success in this job.
😍 scored against Sunlun, so I’ll always have a soft spot for Des.

For a signed shirt?

I have tried desperately to explain to American soccer fans who claim Forest don't know what they are doing with regards Reyna that being a good American player does not mean first team starts ahead of MGW, they simply cant grasp it. Its possibly the same fans that think Turner is the best keeper in the world.

I thought Reyna played well on Saturday so I'd be happy to see both starting again to be honest.
