Is MGW Nuno's captain? Pretty sure that he didn't hand the armband over to either Yates or Worrall when they came on today?
Maybe but I always thought it was a bit weird that when Yates or Worrall came on that Freuler, Serge or whoever would give them the armband.straight away. I've never really thought it was standard practice. Then again the club captain usually starts games. Maybe Nuno just likes his captain of the day to keep it.

needs to ask elanga to teach him how to shoot. mgw has had chances in almost every match but either he snatches at it or he pass/shoot straight to the keeper hence the 0 goals in open play.

I know he loves Coops but Nuno seems to have identified that he's integral to us scoring goals so he must be feeling pretty good in the last two games.

What I didn't think I'd see is a forest player doing some lazy showboating (little backflick) away at Newcastle because we're so comfortable.

BBC Sport report from today suggests they will already be looking. Not actually seen many of his games so don’t know first hand but was that his best Forest performance?

One of many great performances from him but I can't for the life of me understand his lack of composure in front of goal

Yep the little back flick didn’t go unnoticed up by their corner flag.

I’ve read a few match reports from yesterday mentioning his high level of performance and that the “ bigger “ clubs will be taking an interest.
This is my biggest fear because I think he’s going to be the hardest to replace.

Well, he cost us a few bob and I wouldn't let him go for less than double that, so if they want to shell out, we'll see.

Personally I want to keep him and I doubt Nuno would want him to go after the last two performances and his genuine enthusiasm and energy as well as his talent.

I always thought the Nuno didn't like him wasn't really based on anything, he was playing him in the Premier League as an 18 year old in a team that finished 7th. He loaned him out in the 2021 season (to SC's Swansea ironically) and even recalled him in that January. Then Nuno left & Bruno Lage came in & loaned him out for the season then sold him to us.

He has also progressed massively since then & he still played almost 80 games under Nuno at Wolves.

When it comes to the suggestions of "big clubs" sniffing around - presuming that Nuno gets us safe and towards the middle of the table by the season end then the big man will be back on his crusade to qualify for Europe again and to do that you need the special talents of the likes of MGW and Murillo so it'd take some crazy money to prize them off us

He’s an absolute star - no doubt…. there’s also no doubt he will leave us within two seasons. It’s the way of things - we’re all selling clubs, unless you’re owned by a sovereign Middle East state! 🤷‍♂️
All being well in that time he’ll cement our position in the premier league before he goes.
We’ll get +£100 million for him, which is utterly bonkers, but there you go - enjoy him in a red shirt whilst you can 👍

He’ll need to add some goals to his game to get to that kind of value.

not at the moment he won't , not when he can only shoot blanks , no top clubs will touch him while he struggles to score.

No need to worry. Big clubs 'take an interest' in every player who is doing well.
