Yes, the rumour has been refuted from our side as well. My guess: EM made a move, there was no agreement, and it's in the interest of both sides to deny anything happened.

To be honest I'm not surprised. Not sure how it is at Olympiakos but the turnover of the upper management staff here has been crazy in the last few years so you couldn't blame Edu for having reservations about moving from a top job at Arsenal.Yes, the rumour has been refuted from our side as well. Lee Camp would complete that nicelyOnly missing a keeper and that's a cracking 5 a side team
He'll be calling Forest 'us' pretty soon. Not happy with Big Wes coming back. I know it's petty but seeing him refer to Leicester as "us" when they played us rubbed me the wrong way. He can stay the wrong side of the A46.
Unless we play Leicester I expect. Like I said it's petty and I appreciate he captained them to a league title but it annoyed me. He could have used neutral language but didn't. So now I don't like him and would rather he was in seagrave with his blue mates. He'll be calling Forest 'us' pretty soon.
Was he a contracted Leicester player at the time? Not happy with Big Wes coming back. I know it's petty but seeing him refer to Leicester as "us" when they played us rubbed me the wrong way. He can stay the wrong side of the A46.
Was he a contracted Leicester player at the time?
I don't blame him for the inital move, it obviously worked out for him in ways he'd have never dreamed of but even disregarding that we were an absolute shambles at the time on and off the field. His move kept the lights on for a little while longer.
My only question regarding all of this is about the actual coaching credentials of these players. Are we just bringing them in as they live down the road and used to play for us or are they actually going to bring something to the table?
Yeah, he worked for them at the time as an ambassador. Was he a contracted Leicester player at the time?
I wonder about Wes myself from a coaching perspective but he's on the scouting side apparently so that's probably the reason why.Was he a contracted Leicester player at the time?

Have you ever tried referring a group of which you are a part without using the words 'us' or 'we' in a natural conversation? Not happy with Big Wes coming back. Obviously there are ways around it but as you say it's difficult and Wes isn't the most articulate of people so I'm not surprised that he fell foul of that.Have you ever tried referring a group of which you are a part without using the words 'us' or 'we' in a natural conversation?
Its hard because those are the pronouns for a group of which you are a part.
