I've been impressed with him in every single game I've seen him play, even as a centre forward against Liverpool in the cup, but he had a proper mare in that game last season.

Good signing though, especially considering our umbongo.

Definitely the best calibre we can hope for considering our situation. He'll be okay.

Biggest plus point for me is that last season he played 40+ games.

No injuries. That's a first, for a Forest recent signing.

Sceptics may argue its the usual cliche & rhetoric coming from a player trying to make the right noises. However if he,s genuine, with a big enough voice to get his new team mates to buy into his humility, then we could have a decent leader on our hands.

I was waiting for the 'such a big club' comment and sure it came, I'm guessing the same will come when we hear an interview with Jamie Ward in the next few days! Do they really mean it when they say it, it feels like the standard comment now in every new players interview.

I do think though he will be decent for us along with the imminent arrival of Ward, both are a great bit of business considering our situation.

Of course, it's all just nonsense and lip service.

Though there's not much else to say when these kind of statements are lapped up with jubilation and you have Natalie Jackson asking you ''how do you feeeeeel about Forest'' for the third time in as many minutes.

The new shirt blends in well with the seats I see.

I'm actually quite optimistic about the upcoming season! Not a load of new singings but lots of stability and players coming back from injuries!
