Well that certainly lived up to its billing as "El Fiasco". I don't agree with those saying we shouldn't rock the boat with that tweet and that we're sore losers because we played poorly. Both sides were poor but we did well enough to merit at least a point: great Pickford save, shots on target, huge miss by MGW. It was always going to be tight and any one of those penos may have pushed the momentum back to us and we win or draw. The officiating was beyond a joke and I'm all in favour of Forest going to war over this. It may be "embarrassing" for us but it's certainly also embarrassing to PGMOL and the PL because the "mistakes" are as clear as day and have broad consensus. If they broke their own rules regarding resolving conflict of interest of VAR then this needs to be taken up higher. Unfortunately I don't know if there is an actual legal pathway for that. We should try to set a precedent though.

I don’t understand this narrative of the club statement deflecting from the players performance like they are mutually exclusive.

I also don’t understand saying it isn’t the right way to go about it - given we have complained officially and formally multiple times this year and received letters of apology and still we get completely shafted…what else is there to do or do we have to lose? Its like folk would rather we go down quietly like gentlemen than try and fight

Nothing will change but a bit like a protest it at least highlights and draws attention to the situation which, regardless of your thoughts on the clubs approach, is a disgrace

We were f***ing terrible make no mistake. We might have got something out of the game but that's just because both teams were dogshit.

If the two teams hadn't played like dogshit, as you put it Maxi, they wouldn't have been playing for their survival today. It's hard for players to generate positivity when the officials are clearly getting decisions wrong and which affect your team badly.

I think the scoreline is massively exaggerating people’s view of our performance. We weren’t good, but we created the best chance of the game and Pickford made a great save. We got in behind them twice in strong positions to score but were stopped with a handball and a foul. Everton created next to nothing and scored from 2 pot shots, one not even particularly good. It was always going to be a low quality cagey game but largely we were better in open p lay than them.

Certainly for 60 minutes we were.

We will cave in mate by the time we play them we are pretty much useless in pretty much every department,Im not impressed by any of our players at all.But we treat them as superstars.Just look at our so called wingers non can even cross the ball id be embarrassed.In all honesty id keep maybe 4 players the rest id melt down for glue..

I prefer in my 70 years of supporting to be an optimist and it seems you can’t except that many people are trying their best to make us successful again. Why not focus on the PL and PGMOL and how it has shafted us in the last 12 months.
I expect you will still be posting your negative posts tomorrow and I will have moved on to looking after my raised beds and greenhouse, I never know how so many people on here find the time to post so regularly.

One positive is that by Wednesday we will 100% know how many points we actually have. It must be strange for the players and staff and I really do feel for them.
Add that to the fact the Prem is a game of extremely fine margins as it is and the amount of energy these players are exerting in each match, it must be so tough mentally when the refs are also screwing us.

If we can get a couple of points back, have a couple of games go our way, a win against Sheffield United could & should have the City Ground roaring for the game vs Chelsea with the chance to secure our status.

I almost plead to all Forest fans to push the off the field shit to the side until the end of the season, lets unite as we do better than any other club in the league and drive our boys over the line. Then at the end of the season we can deal with everything off the pitch, united.
