Maybe not Cloughie but if the PGMOL have broken the rules themselves having appointed a referee who supports a team that has a direct interest which can affect them in this game who has also gone on to not award a number of penalties then surely we should be asking the question?
The only way to get a replay is for thugs with huge beer guts to invade the pitch when their
team is 3-1 down at home.

Your post is interesting, you have shown little respect to our manager in the last few weeks calling him slow, which in many people’s opinions is rude and disrespectful.
Why should we now be considered respectful when dealing with issues that have bedevilled us all season?
You have continually raised the subject of Murphy and his impact yet failed to grasp that the reason Murphy went was because of the power struggle between him and SC. DM let it be known against the wishes of SC that he had signed a new contract. Then they had the issue over signing experienced players and thankfully SC came out on top.SC signed his new contract and DM departed, SC won. Yet you want to blame the club for everything that is wrong. I suggest you just start a thread NFFC are shit and write your posts every day under that thread.
This just shows you can't tell the difference between a fan opinion on a social media forum, and a professional multi-million pound organization.

I'm flattered you think my posts should be of such a high standard though. I clearly have potential.

Great post, but I just wish the club would act with more professionalism and less emotion.

If we're walking this path, then a more considered response to the tune of "Recent refereeing decisions have raised further concerns with NFFC, and we hope to discuss and address with the PGMOL in the near future" stated a significant time after the match has finished, makes the club's point without coming across as cry babies.

We should still show the PGMOL respect, whether it has earned it or not.
I don’t disagree, Alf, but I wonder whether 1) they’ve tried that behind closed doors already and 2) whether you just get ignored unless you shout loudly/publicly. Both of those seem very plausible to me, which would also lead me to this course of action.

my conspiracy theory is even grander in scheme and it starts in North America with the NFL - as an American I am bombarded by endless marketing for my entertainment dollar by the big three sports - NFL, NBA and MLB, MLB is the worst at marketing, the NFL has managed to take a 7 month season and convert it into year round publicity, one very effective method is "no publicity is bad publicity" translating into "even if we royally screw up, we are still in the news" (clickbait). Officiating outcomes in NFL games are notoriously bad, even screwing up coin tosses for the right to choose to kick off the match. NFL has had "instant replay", the VAR equivalent, for decades and officiating has only gotten worse over that time, to the point where decisions are so questionable so as to question if the officials are not being directed to follow a script or if pure corruption is at play (i.e. sports book influence) - sound familiar? The next week is spent discussing how it is that officiating can get it so wrong again and again - with the point being the discussion is about the NFL (clickbait) or in this case how ineffectual VAR is yet again, but the conversation is about the sport when if the controversy was not there the discussion would be about weather, or crime or anything not PL/VAR - this garbage is a successful marketing ploy, intentional or not
Sports betting in the US basically runs sport now, I’m a Sixers fan and it seems like every 5 seconds we get fined for Embiid missing nationally televised games due to him being made of biscuits.

The 'power struggle' between DM and SC was almost certainly made up by the club to justify DMs removal and stop any fan revolt.

I’ve lost patience with all of if.

Terrible refs costing us games.
Terrible players putting in the worst shifts of their careers in arguably the biggest game of all.
Ridiculously stupid board.

If you'd listened yo your Uncle Wes you'd have saved yourself the extra disappointment that 3 months of hope built up inside you!

In your words unless you can give me irrefutable proof then is it. Where did the club make it up? Absolute tosh.

Can you provide me irrefutable proof there was a bust up between the two?

It's amazing how many 'relationship breakdowns' happen right before key staff are fired...

Yep. That’s pretty much what I’m seeing. Premier league has long revered the NFL model. I feel like I’ve been in a season long WWE script.

Why shouldn't we call out the corruption? I am all for it. It's all very well saying we played shit but we were about as shit as Everton and had we got those pens it's a different game.
Because practically it will probably just invite more bad/bias decisions.

The club pointed out to the PGMOL that the VAR wasn't fit for purpose today......remind me how that worked out?

Again you cannot or will not engage on the points that are made because it would ruin your whole conspiracy theory.

If the club really are 'considering their next actions' then can I suggest the biggest statement they could make is for the players simply to not try Vs man city, at least for five minutes. Stand still, refuse to play.

Bring their game in to disrepute.
Would probably be quite difficult to tell the difference to normal 🤣
