Great post, but I just wish the club would act with more professionalism and less emotion.

If we're walking this path, then a more considered response to the tune of "Recent refereeing decisions have raised further concerns with NFFC, and we hope to discuss and address with the PGMOL in the near future" stated a significant time after the match has finished, makes the club's point without coming across as cry babies.
Or even "We think PGMOL are negligent and court proceedings will follow". Whatever. JUST GET THE PUNCTUATION AND GRAMMAR CORRECT !!!!

How was Sels poor for the goals? They both went in off the post and seen fairly late.

I thought itwas a fairly even game and if anything we created the better chances and looked more threatening.

Sums up the season. We’ve played well in most games and result doesn’t always tell the full story.

We were f***ing terrible make no mistake. We might have got something out of the game but that's just because both teams were dogshit.

Sels did OK - the 2 strikes from distance were because defenders didn't attack the man with the ball.
I have seldom seen a professional team be so stand-off as Forest are.
Just saying: we wouldn't have been so stand-off-ish (ie out of position) if Sangare had been playing.

Posting this straight after the final whistle is another version of Marinakis going on to the pitch or chasing the ref down the tunnel after the Liverpool game.
Pretty sure that was debunked...

This, we've made it easy to dismiss as paranoid sour grapes.

It has made a lot of noise and drawn attention to it, though.

We’ve done that before haven’t we?

We never heard any explanations.

We’ve not had any massive decisions explained.

Why didn’t Neco get a penalty? Why didn’t Taiwo get a penalty? Why wasn’t that Brighton player sent off? Why didn’t Kluivert get a second yellow?

We’ve had maybe one poor decision go our way, against Brentford when Turner brought our player down.

It’s incredibly disproportionate.

Even the penalty we got… it was v Brighton and funnily enough Taylor was reffing. He’d already given a penalty to Brighton himself when he spotted Chris Wood’s hand on Pedro’s shoulder making his legs crumble beneath him. No need for VAR intervention.

15 minutes later we all see Hudson Odoi tripped in the box. Lo and behold the selective vision kicks in and neither linesman nor Taylor sees it.

The crowd was going crazy, absolutely rabid. Forest about stopped playing waiting for VAR to intervene. Eventually Taylor gives it but it was almost like he was forced to.

Also noting Atwell was the ref at Old Trafford who gave the penalty to Rashford after he went down following a crush on the leg. Amazingly Atwell has no hesitation to give that even though he’s got f*** all view of any foul. Also had no hesitation kn sending Worrall off.

How can it be a coincidence that onfield refs give decisions against us but not one for us. It’s not like it’s a few times now.

And then there’s the Boly sending off, Maddison punching Yates, Brighton player not being given a straight red and Kluivert not getting a second yellow to name a few.

I’m sure there’s a few we might have got lucky with but not massive ones like these penalties we haven’t got.

You can also look at last season, those decisions v Man Utd. Maguire handball, Antony stamping on Dennis.

We try not to be bias but that’s a f***ing lot of decisions we don’t get v ones that go our way. I can’t see them evening out in 4 games.
It’s even stuff like time keeping for me. I’m not saying it is corrupt but totally unaccountable. When we are chasing games (I don’t class today as chasing as the game was done) we seem to get 5 or 6 mins. The Arsenal home game at 2-1 and a VAR intervention after the time was given and they played about a minute over the 6. When United were chasing us at home or when Liverpool were chasing the win it is like 11 mins no questions asked. Even when no goals have been scored.

I've had this season.

Given that we were not very good today, I just feel that the Prem is no fun. Two fluke goals against us, poor, poor refereeing and seeing our goal attempts drift past the post or hit the goalie. It just is not entertainment any more.

The FFP (orwhatever they chose to call it) thing has now been changed because even the Prem realise it is just daft and the way the rules are implemented is crazy. An internal cabal decide on what will be voted on and nothing alternative can be suggested, so the sheep just vote because the majority know that they will survive the season.

The Premier League might be "the best league in the world", but I'll happily leave it tomorrow. It stinks.

But they aren't going to remove an official just on our say so if it doesn't breach their rules or policies.
Referees are not supposed to be involved in games with teams that they support or games that effect teams that they support. Jeff Winter confirmed this when talking about him supporting Middlesbrough on undr the cosh. Stuart Atwell should have been nowhere near this game. I'd go as far as to say there is potential cause for it to be replayed. It's a totally avoidable f**k up and one I'm almost certain is against the rules given what Jeff Winter said.

Unquestionably could have gone about this better across the season, but whether or not we go down, I’m under no illusions that this league stinks to high heaven and is driven by agendas just as much as football. As a friend of mine who doesn’t follow Huddersfield will point out: it’s quite possibly an agenda that got us here in the first place. Look at how news worthy we’ve been. Regardless, this is not the sport I love and the sport it should be, so I have no problem with the club speaking truth to power. It won’t end well for us. But I’d be more ashamed of us if we limped meekly off home.
my conspiracy theory is even grander in scheme and it starts in North America with the NFL - as an American I am bombarded by endless marketing for my entertainment dollar by the big three sports - NFL, NBA and MLB, MLB is the worst at marketing, the NFL has managed to take a 7 month season and convert it into year round publicity, one very effective method is "no publicity is bad publicity" translating into "even if we royally screw up, we are still in the news" (clickbait). Officiating outcomes in NFL games are notoriously bad, even screwing up coin tosses for the right to choose to kick off the match. NFL has had "instant replay", the VAR equivalent, for decades and officiating has only gotten worse over that time, to the point where decisions are so questionable so as to question if the officials are not being directed to follow a script or if pure corruption is at play (i.e. sports book influence) - sound familiar? The next week is spent discussing how it is that officiating can get it so wrong again and again - with the point being the discussion is about the NFL (clickbait) or in this case how ineffectual VAR is yet again, but the conversation is about the sport when if the controversy was not there the discussion would be about weather, or crime or anything not PL/VAR - this garbage is a successful marketing ploy, intentional or not

Howard Webb hasn't once been in his cosy little studio with Michael f***ing Owen discussing ANY of our incidents this season.

You can guarantee he won't be seen for todays shambles.

As for that RAT Neville and Carragher. Can you imagine if United had three penalties rapidly cleared by the VAR assistant who happened to be a well known Liverpool fan. Or vice versa.

Just imagine the talking points and how many days it would last.

Employed by Sky.

I'm sorry i know i'm still emotional and my head is clearly gone, but what makes this league different from leagues on the continent where corruption has been proven many times? Its rotten to its core.

(And people not familiar with our situation think that we're just talking about TODAY, as Neville said to Greg on the Overlap "I know you've had a couple of decisions against you but every team does" - A COUPLE? )

f*** the Premier League, PGMOL, Stuart Atwell, Howard Webb, Sky, Gary Neville, Carragher and any other **** who is not taking a step back and looking at our situation this season without resorting to hot take "embarrassing" comments about the clubs statement.

Today was…

…I actually hate to even say it…

..but one of those games where you realise it ain’t even about the ‘beautiful game’ any more because so many people who can’t even kick a ball for shit have taken the game and made it a f***ing business. Absolutely pathetic. There’s no point even watching anymore.

Maybe not Cloughie but if the PGMOL have broken the rules themselves having appointed a referee who supports a team that has a direct interest which can affect them in this game who has also gone on to not award a number of penalties then surely we should be asking the question?

We should still show the PGMOL respect, whether it has earned it or not.
Your post is interesting, you have shown little respect to our manager in the last few weeks calling him slow, which in many people’s opinions is rude and disrespectful.
Why should we now be considered respectful when dealing with issues that have bedevilled us all season?
You have continually raised the subject of Murphy and his impact yet failed to grasp that the reason Murphy went was because of the power struggle between him and SC. DM let it be known against the wishes of SC that he had signed a new contract. Then they had the issue over signing experienced players and thankfully SC came out on top.SC signed his new contract and DM departed, SC won. Yet you want to blame the club for everything that is wrong. I suggest you just start a thread NFFC are shit and write your posts every day under that thread.
