If Carragher thinks it doesn’t matter what club an official supports I hope Liverpool have a known Man United fan reffing their game every week for a decade.

We shouldn’t have to put out a statement like that but we’ve been screwed over almost weekly for a year now and it’s a disgrace.

More of the ‘small teams’ should tell the FA and PL what they think of the blatant bias being shown to certain teams.

The ‘big 6’ have been awarded 43 penalties this season while we’ve been given one. The league is corrupt and it’s blatantly obvious now.
43???! bleeding hell....

I hope we take this sorry ass league and the PGMOL all the way through the courts, I’m sorry but we’ve been genuinely robbed of Atleast 10 points because of refereeing decisions.

Sick and tired of this whole charade.

How dare we not toe the line and accept more poor decisions against us with a full system in place to provide hindsight for incorrect decisions.

When you see a cnut eventually you have to tell him he's one for your own sanity....PMGOL are a bunch of cnuts, I fully support calling them out, Atwell should be nowhere near any game at the bottom of the table.

I hope we sue some f***er if not to just shit in the apple cart a bit.

Screw The PL
VAR aside….

2 left footed CBs and then a very left footed Danilo in front of them basically takes half of the field out of play too often.

Lack of aggression to close the ball down - Danilo ?? Keeper also slow to react.

Poor miss by MGW at 1-0, sloppy forward play all around. Poor control by Wood at 1-0

Nothing off the bench.

I actually think the drama around officiating is having a negative impact on player focus.

The sooner the 'big 6' bugger off to a superleague the better

I disagree, that was appalling officiating and obviously bias against us as it had been most of this season. We cannot just sit back and accept that continuing.
That’s fair we are all entitled to our opinions. I don’t think we have had a corrupt level of officiating. It is what it is, if we just performed 10% better and the board actually did their jobs competently we would easily safe now. That’s is the biggest problem at Forest I feel not VAR.

So the ref didn't give the CHO pen because he thought young got the ball first but clearly he did not. At that point the game potentially 1 all, and we have all to play for
I noted this earlier in the thread - I understand the on-field missing it but that type of play is exactly what VAR was for - it's a blatant penalty. There is no way to excuse that, completely changed/affected the outcome of the game.

There's more than enough VAR evidence over the season to call it corrupt and see where the chips fall in court.

Given each point has a nominal cash value, as does PL survival, there appears to be a case to answer: time to drag it into public, where PGMOL and the PL don't want it.

Yeah, sorry chaps, but I didn't expect anything today, so not a shocking result really.

Like I said earlier in the week, rarely do you get good results when there's a wave of negativity at the club, and.....between FFP/PSR, sacking Cooper, stupid pricing etc.....the club have invited negativity on us in droves. Karma's a bitch, but we seem to revel in creating bad karma big time.

But...as always...it's about how we react to that.

Crying over ref decisions instead of just getting our shit together is the wrong way to react. That Tweet shows how weak the "leadership" at the club is.

We warned the governing bodies before the game about having Luton fan VAR the match, and look where that's got us 3 pen decisions swat off like shit-flies. Can we not learn?

And that is PRECISELY why VAR was brought in - to help out the on-field referee when he's made a clear and obvious error.

But VAR didn't do its job.

Why?

Alf where I have to disagree was the sacking of cooper. Cooper to me at the start of this season just wasn’t good enough. To be dropping deep at home to Paul Heckingbothams Sheffield United was appaling. Cooper and the board were all bad at the start of this season. I agree he did a wonderful job to keep us up. But I expected far more progression.
