Every day and night of the week i try to watch football games all around the league, country and Europe. I like to think i'm generally fair on how i call penalty shouts.

Young kicked Reyna's ankle in the box. He didnt win the ball. There was no malice, but Reyna got to the ball before him. Its a STONEWALL penalty for any team in Europe with VAR.

Farcical refereeing. I see penalties every week for both incidents, but not for us of course.

Fed up of this league to be honest. It’s hard enough to compete against teams without throwing in the blatantly biased refereeing too.

You know if those fouls were against a “big team” VAR would’ve stopped the game for about 5 minutes and given both of them.

Hmm, better than we were last time out agai at these but goal hit us hard - jammy strike that was.

Couple of big moments aside - Wood chance, that I thought Pickford did everything right with, and pen claim that Ive seen go either way... but never for us unfortunately.

I think we are lacking down the right side with Niakhate a lefty and Reyna seemingly wanting to be playing inside. Not sure if that's tactical or him drifting.

Big 45 coming up - we seem to have lacked a bit of drive since the goal but these don't look great. If I were boss Im genuinely not sure what I'd do, meaning more of the same for 15 mins or so until that becomes clearer.

Hope we can come out quick second half and sustain the pressure from the end of the first half... Obviously they'll have something to say about that.

Is expecting the correct application of the laws of the game wrong? That's all we want.

After the decision on our FFP penalty Marinakis should call out the refereeing decisions and question the integrity. We may as well go down fighting! It's happening too often to be a coincidence, we're not benefiting from similar decisions going our way at all.

Actually can’t get over those penalty decisions. Forever being told these days you can’t tackle from behind and come through the man. That’s exactly what he did.

The handball rule is not something I totally agree with but under the current rules it’s a nailed on penalty. It’s f***ing inept.
