You see you can make arguments.

The Reyna one for me was 100% a dive. I just know from playing football. The kick was nowhere near enough to bring someone down like that. Reyna felt it and went down after. The young one it was unintentional and close. I felt his arm was too out in my opinion so a penno. Than Hudson Odoi you can argue it was a tangle of legs . I felt young brought Hudson Odoi down. Football is a grey area and that’s the problem.

I don’t agree with Stan but I am making the point that people who should be bias for us aren’t even sticking up for us.
You're having a laugh right.
No1. Look closer, the issue is that Young kicks Reyna's foot which prevents him controlling the ball. He falls over too easy, but the foul play had already occurred.
No2. Young makes his body bigger, arm is outstretched, and if anything moves towards the ball.
No3. Tangle of legs, nice one Crewton.

Best not talk too much about crewton's legs or it will sound like a catholic priest or tweens PE teacher convention on here

I came into the office and everyone is taking the piss. Unanimously neutral fans (my mates) say it’s a stupid statement. I have yet encountered a neutral who believes that statement was the right thing.
Don't you live in Wales? All plastics that hate the English but all support English teams. They're more confused than a Forest fan deciding who the bigger cheat is between Atwell and Rob Jones.

On Twitter we have the people on our side. Our statement has beautifully exposed media the PL shills such as all Talksport, Neville, Carragher, Lineaker, Shearer and that bloke that just laughs.

I don't like the owner, but I'll follow him to hell and back in his quest to slay the PL cartel. Part of me worries he's conjured this purely to deflect the price increase protests however. Very smart if so diluting the hate into a bigger pool.

Came across like he had no idea how to handle the interview to me rather than being cocky. Abrasiveness trying to mask vulnerability type vibe.
Saying "but none of them were given" in answer to whether any of the ref's decisions were correct (whilst smirking with a smug look on his face) isn't anything other than being facetious.

You know what they'll do now.
On Sunday we'll be 0-5 down in the 86th minute and we'll be given a totally random penalty after Williams slips over in the box. They'll then say "see, these things even themself out."

If that happened i would love the penalty taker to do a huge run up and then just pea shoot it out for a throw in whilst mouthing to teh cameras " it was never a penalty - we dont cheat"
or summit like that

People are forgetting it's 4 penalties;
Reyna
Handball
CHO
Holding/handball on Wood 2nd half
And what would Young’s yellow/red card situation have been if 2 or 3 of the penalties been given. Not that our record of playing against 10 men is particularly good🤪

Talking about refereeing decisions, VAR, etc bores the life out of me so I won't go too much into that but I think it's clear that we should've had 2 penalties. The first one on Reyna was soft, so I'll let that one slide but the handball (especially considering the current 'tolerance' for handball) & the foul on CHO look clear. I'm not sure what Forest hope to highlight with their crusade (incompetence, corruption?) but good luck to them I suppose.

Forest's effort on the pitch just about pipped the PGMOL as the worst performing team on the day. Everton were terrible & we barely laid a glove on them & the second half was especially meek. You'd think the burning injustice of it all might've inspired a bit of a reaction but we barely managed a shot of note in the last 30 minutes.

The 2 goals we conceded were shit. I'm not sure what was worse, the half arsed effort to win a loose ball, or the even worse effort to block a shot? I'm not sure I'd blame the GK for either but I do think he's very slow to get down to low shots from range. Yesterday wasn't the first time I thought he might've done better.

I struggle to pick out any positives; the FB's did okay, although Neco was a bit wasteful when he went forward again. The midfield didn't work, I think Dominguez is amongst our best players but I'm not sure playing him that deep works, how often did he get the ball between our two CB's with no-one to pass to? A complete waste of his talent. Danilo's form continues to fluctuate wildly, a few promising performances recently & then he puts in that effort? It reminded me of Cafu v Stoke under Hughton - absolutely gutless & he should be fined for his part in both goals.

Reyna has a nice touch & floats around but he just looks like a spare part in that system. He doesn't want to play wide which unbalances us & he can't play as a 10 because everything goes through Gibbs-White. MGW had his poorest game in a while & should've done much better with probably our only decent chance of the 2nd half. CHO had his moments but was too eager to slow things down instead of trying to run at Young. I was surprised Elanga didn't come on at HT and go straight on to the left wing. Wood was quiet & despite his ridiculous conversion record this season, he managed to miss another one that looked unmissable.

I'm not looking forward to Bramall Lane!

The Reyna one for me was a nailed on dive though. I played as a striker and you dont go dont like that after a kick. If its enough you go down instantly. The other 2 I thought were massive pens. However there is wiggle room as I discussed for refs.
Regardless if he dived or not did he not kick Reyna on the back of his ankle? If so, then it’s a penalty. The action alone is what’s penalised not whether Reyna dived or not

So, 3 penalties not given, 1 soft one, 1 obvious one and 1 handball which is 50/50.....however.

same day, penalty.

no penalty.
followed by another massively arsey VAR decision for an offside.

In this supposed world of "professional" referees we are supposed to infer that they are beyond reproach when it comes to their performances in matches. The PGMOL has this KMI panel of people who supposedly review every match....yet zero is ever done about anything it seems other than "oh we are sorry" or some other foppish bollocks.
They should be coming down heavily on match officials when it is blatantly obvious they are making wrong calls, instead we get a bunch of self serving bureaucrats protecting their own.

Was our tweet the right thing to do? probably not, perhaps it coulda been worded a bit better however I agree with it 100%.

On Sunday, we will get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING when it comes to refereeing decisions. It does not follow the Premier League and Sky script, in order that ”The Race For The Title” goes on as long as possible and Sky can then milk it as much as they can.

I've given up reading or listening to the media. It is quite clear that until occasions like this come along, the majority, particularly the senior sports writers/pundits of the various organisations don't bother with the small fry at the bottom, only the 'important big' clubs.

So their pieces are cobbled together with material hastily assembled without any depth of knowledge or insight. Very poor stuff on the whole, making no sense, just put together according to the viewpoint they start with, varying wildly between daft and outright crazy. One I just heard made up an argument which went so wildly out there that the PGMOL were left with no refs for our games because everyone of them were, in some way, connected with the clubs we were playing.

This is exactly my thought. They'll probably give us two.

Had a similar thing when Rodri pushed GW in the face and he made a meal of it.

I spent a day on FB trying to explain that irrespective of the reaction, it was the action that got him sent off, because you simply cannot put your hand into someone's face without being sent off, in the same way you cant kick someone's legs in the penalty area, not touch the ball and expect it not to be a penalty.

Oh wait, yes you can.

Rewatched most of second half on OS, struck by how well Forest played right up to the final pass. Should have made four or five good chances, regardless of any other issues.

CHO twice played little diagonal balls to get people in round the back but both were overhit. MGW (allegedly) kept the first one in but had to rush and the pull back was cleared. The second CHO pass just went out for a goal kick.

Yes, we were 1-0 down but we looked like the home side for 20 minutes. Niakhate was ace, the team played fluent football with composure. Good platform to build on, and vital to keep that identity for the last four games, just get it right in the last third of the pitch.
