The next 3 league games (Villa,Liverpool and Brighton) look difficult to me-any points gained
could be crucial.
We then face Luton (a),Palace (h) and Fulham (h)-I think we need to get at least 6 points from
these games and not lose at Luton.

9 points against the first three then another 9 against the last 3 I thinks

I'll happily take a draw. They've a lot of firepower to keep quiet and i'm a big fan of John McGinn in the midfield. 1-1 and whistle home.
As far as I'm concerned our team has improved so much it's like we've had a brain transplant since the last time we beat them and we beat them then.
Another Nuno masterclass and let's get some points on the board.

We are playing with renewed confidence.
The new goalie has restored confidence in the back 4.
Felipe and Murillo are complementary centre-backs who understand each others' strengths and weaknesses.
Tavares is beginning to show he is more than a competition winner.
Williams is fast becoming a certain starter, and 90-minute man.
The front 4 are fast, and up for the fight.
Taiwo in particular is regaining full fitness.
It won't be easy, but I think the game will be entertaining and a close run match.

Well said Cap'n, we have nothing to fear.

Every-time we play Villa it reminds me of when my pal tripped and went throught a plate glass door 🤣🤣.

He went through the air like the Sunlun Superman 🦸

Let's also not forget, that if we need a tactical plan to negate Villa, Cooper already provided a blue-print for doing so.

Their high line isn't as high as it was previously. I've watched a couple of Villa games recently and they're not stood 10 yards inside their own half like the media would have you believe. It's definitely dropped another 10-15 yards since we played them.

I agree with all of that.

Unfortunately, the last time I felt this confident was prior to Fulham.

I'm going to say that was entirely misplaced confidence, given we were coming off a run of three straight defeats, two of which were at home.

I'm impressed anyone came out of that Everton game before it with anything other than a sense of dread.

Yea it wasn't Fulham. Not sure who I was thinking of. Definitely wasn't a game with Origi starting.

Or maybe it was and I was just drunk.

We definitely lost though.
