I can understand Nuno trying Niakhate at left back, but it should be obvious to even the most myopic among us from his performances that he can't play there and that Toffolo is the superior option

Wasn’t Niakhate once preferred at lb before and he was a bit of a disaster?

To be fair we don’t know if toff is carrying a slight knock or something.

When a manager plays a player that is not suited to a position when he has players that are natural at that position available it's usually when a manager is desperate and doesn't know what he is doing anymore.
