Haven't come across anyone yet, pundit, commentator or ex-ref who doesn't think it's a penno. And on SSN "Ref Watch" this morning, they also mentioned the fact that we have been annoyed by several poor VAR/referee decisions lately which may be the reason for a ref analyst, partly because no one could think of another reason for Clattenberg joining the club.

Not sure if that has been posted.
Love how Dom goes and picks up T's shirt out of the goal.
For such a competitor he seems like a nice guy
Also if MGW had done the flicks that Origi had done we would have all lauded him

Massive prat for taking his shirt off though, tbf I find the yellow cards for it a bit of a silly rule but the rule it is and they're 100% avoidable.

If he'd got a 2nd yellow for something else having got the 1st for taking his shirt off he'd miss a match, we'd be down a player, and who knows what else.

Who were the two on the side of the pitch pre kick off for MOK, the elderly lady and younger man?

Quite amusing seeing Elanga claim the assist for the second and Williams protest (and yes it was somewhat unfairly given to Elanga in the end).

Oh, James Ward Prowse did his best to confirm my 'great set pieces but not a very good midfielder' opinion on Saturday, with what was a Sammy Clingan-esque display. Incredible at set pieces though, granted.

If MGW could take set pieces like Ward-Prowse he’d be playing for England, no question. Also probably be playing for someone other than Forest, sadly.

He definitely would.

My point was more that there's not much more to JWP's game than his delivery imo. Lots were saying we should have gone in for him last summer - I wouldn't want him (at least until the arrival of specialist kickers is introduced).

I was quite disappointed when I have seen JWP in the flesh these last couple of years.

His highlight reel must be magnificent, but most of the time it's like playing with 10 men as his non free kick contributions are nothing special to say the least.

Aye... I was listening to one of the pre Forest v West Ham podcast thingies. A Hammers fan said that JWP had been a bit disappointing.

You sticking to that opinion eh Cap'n? 😁
I am ashamed to admit that when saints were relegated I might have suggested we should buy W-P.
Until the rules of football are changed to allow a place-kicker to come on as a temporary substitue, like they do in American Football, he is an expensive luxury to have in a league where every player has to be adept at all manner of skills, and be honed athletes as well.

You hit the nail on the head there Cap'n, Expensive Luxury.

Is the Haiku thread still on here?

Not that the LTLF Haiku police wouldn't have torn you to pieces if you'd have posted it there, of course. It's incorrect, doesn't follow the 5-7-5 rule. You'd have been torn to pieces, stuffed into a packet with a pair of worn panties and sold from a vending machine to a Japanese pervert.
Again ..
