Standing ovation?

Surely nobody would've clapped that horrible prick
Antonio did get a standing ovation from the Forest fans as he walked round the pitch.
It was deserved as the fans remember the impact he had on us when he was our player, and was in great form.
Forest also made a decent profit when he was sold.
On the evidence of last Saturday’s game, he is well passed his best, but it was his first game since being injured last November.

that's insane, he played well in a mediocre team for 1 season, hardly Stuart Pearce / Chris Cohen levels of commitment and achievement is it

i'd have booed him

I also remember his defence of Kurt Zuma when he kicked his cat

Oh well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
I remember him giving that mediocre team a bit of an edge with 16 goals in 50 games for us.
He cost £1.5m, and was sold for £7m and was voted Player of the Season 2014-15 by the fans.
Not the longest career with forest, and not the shortest.
I liked him when with us, and clapped him as he left the pitch on Saturday.
I haven't paid him much attention since he left us, but that season he was very good.

Hardly club legend stuff is it Captain & certainly not worthy of a standing ovation

It was a decent gesture. He did his bit for the club while he was here, we made good money on him and he was exciting to watch.

I've got no problem with it and players talk, Antonio always speaks affectionately about us and if a player ever asks him about a move here he will only ever say good things.
