Does he carry people he’s rescued out of buildings sideways?
I was going to post that he's probably great at moving the ladders from side to side

Joe Worrall played the full game in Besiktas' 0-0 draw at Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig, notching a 7.6 rating on Flashscore. He was an unused sub in their next game, a 2-0 home win against Konyaspor.
I saw an article that said Besiktas want to make his move permanent. It was the day before the game against Konyaspor. So I was surprised to see him on the bench.

Good for Joe, I hope it works out for him.

He's been a great servant, and loved watching him last year and in our promotion year. Always admired his honesty and heart.

I just think we've left him behind just a little and he's not cut out to be a squad player.

But you never know, he could come back next year if we go down. He was part of an imperious Championship back three.

Whatever happens, I'll always remember him fondly.

any loanee updates recently?
Enjoy these 🆙
I was at Adams Park on Saturday. Dale Taylor started for Wycombe against Barnsley. Played just off the number nine. Took his goal well but didn't really get involved too much. Subbed on 67 minutes after Barnsley went 3-2 up. Season ticket holders there think he's useful, nothing more.

No idea why they, or he, would want to do that right now. He's not starting, only making the bench. He could do that here without having to up sticks and live in Istanbul (which obviously will be an amazing experience).

No goalkeeper but otherwise yes, easily:

Panzo
Worrall
McKenna
Richards

Mangala
O’Brien

Bowler
Aguilera
Dennis

Hwang

Subs:
Mighten
Mbe Soh
Back
Larsson
Taylor
Donnelly

Though whether Mangala and McKenna (and a couple of others) are ‘out on loan’ or gone altogether is up for debate really. Think Freuler is technically still on loan as well but the transfer is guaranteed now.

Mangala, McKenna and Freuler are all officially loans, even though it is pretty obvious none of them are coming back (McKenna‘s contract is up at the end of the season anyway).

That’s a championship playoff team with the right manager..

Ya see that's crazy to me.

The agents must be laughing their bollox off in their millionaire mansions.

It's scary enough really considering that it wasn't too long ago we were saying on here about teams like Chelsea having basically whole teams of players loaned out.

Though that list basically fits into three groups
- younger players who are probably not going to make our first team, certainly not in the PL, who are getting experience to help find a new club (e.g. Mighten, Mbe Soh, Back, Donnelly, Taylor, maybe even Aguilera)
- players who have been useful for us previously and/or who the club has outgrown by getting promotion (e.g. Worrall, McKenna, Panzo)
- players who we have bought and never played for us (e.g. Hwang, Bowler)

Richards is the obvious outlier as he was presumably intended to be first team but has been set back by getting injured.

It’s also a strategy that Brighton have used, and everyone thinks they’re super 😉.

As usual with Forest it’s a mix of things as @Statto says. Mangala and McKenna have basically left the club, one for a lot of money, the other after serving us admirably for several years.

O'Brien played the full 90 in Middlesborough's last 5 games. Won 3 lost 2. First run of game he's had in forever - could be very important for us next season if we go down and the likes of Dominguez and Sangare want out.
Boro still have an outside chance of promotion. He should attract a decent fee if they go up.

Is he playing in midfield now? I know they were sticking him at left-back prior to his injury.

Wycombe fan here with a quick Dale Taylor report, now that the season is winding down.

42 appearances in all competitions
8 goals (though 3 were in EFL Trophy)
2 assists

He has played better in the 10, close to Vokes or Lubala, than as the striker himself. We have certainly been able to get a lot of mileage out of him this season, as he has been pretty durable, and hopefully that appearance count will benefit Forest either way as you decide next steps.

He almost scored the goal of the century a few weeks back, wriggling by half the other team (can't remember who) from the halfway line a la Maradona, before his shot was saved in the box. What might have been!

My own verdict is that League One is around his level currently. If we somehow got him in on a permanent I would be perfectly content, as he has shown enough to be a solid player at this level. I have no idea if he will develop any higher. He is only 20, but obviously a big jump to the Champo. He has a pretty decent chance of being in the starting lineup at Wembley for the Trophy final.

Cheers for the loan either way - hopefully we have built a good relationship with your management over this, and can grab a gem on loan for 24/25!

Spoke to a friend t'other day and he told me Lewis O'Brien is playing very well now and he appears to be fit again. He asked if Boro had the option to buy?

Sadly, because it would have been set high, I don't think they do.

Two years left - wonder what happens next with him. Suspect our valuation of him might price out most championship clubs these days.

If he’s match fit then I’d give him a chance. Illness and injury really impacted him last season
