It’s more of a statement of Tomlins state of mind that he’d accept a Peterborough move over the swarm of champ clubs that’d be after him.

Definitely not the type of mindset we need, for sure.

It’s a bizzare move for me, don’t see where he fits in Steve Evans rigid 4-4-2 set up. Not quick enough to play wide, not a natural enough finisher to play as an out and out striker and not enough energy to play as an orthodox central midfielder.

It's probably how Evans describes his buffet tactics, floating around, never in the queue, picking off plate after plate. Maybe he wanted Tomlin to stand next to, you know, how not-so-pretty girls all have that minger around to make them look better.
