Welcome to "Modern Football".

Blame Murdoch and the FA, the latter selling the soul of the game for money.

On the other hand, one of the perks of the modern world is that you can watch it online for free. Hook up your laptop to your TV with a £2 cable and bob's your uncle

On the plus side, it means you've got a good excuse to go to the pub.

Are these all "plug and play"? I take it you need a Ethernet cable for the back or do they run off wifi?

Do you need a bigger broadband speed than for a normal stream? I guess the quality's better so need a faster speed?

You need to be able to download at 800kbps for a maximum quality 1080p stream (which you won't come across very often). Any broadband should be able to cope.

Edit: actually you'll only need to be able to download at 625kbps.

Was it shown on BT sports? Because Virginmedia had a free access day. I was wondering why they chose today although I didn't watch it.

Wasn't on BT sports. Only Sky sports I think. It was a piece of piss to find a half decent stream though.

Hmm. I don't have an uncle called bob. Not sure what tropix is thinking there
