It's a strange one, I agree. To go from what he was, I would say particularly the beginning of last season, to what he's become now, is puzzling to say the least. The fact that there might have been a substantial offer on the table highlights how weird football is.
Him, Antonio, Britt, Fryatt and Mancienne have all had a huge dip in form. But with Lansbury it appears it might be more than just form if that makes sense. He does not look like anything like the footballer he once did in terms of his movement and even down to how he kicks the ball.

Once he scored the free kick at Craven Cottage he looked more like his old self. Second half he was excellent. Shame he didn't manage to take the belief and confidence into the Millwall game.
