We need an Obsessives XI, something like...

Henderson
Spence
Shorey
Lascelles
Dawson
Pratley
Whittingham
Garner
Burke
Davis
Danns

Manager: Nigel Clough
Dwight Gayle is another that fans used to obsess over, so is definitely a contender too.

Don’t forget the time we tried to persuade Stan Collymore to come out of retirement to play for us again. That was peak drunk-texting your ex

When he went to Tenerife for 3 weeks to get fit. 🤣🫠

You get the odd person still thinking Zinc should have been signed permanently. I guess it shows how traumatised Forest fans are by the last 20 years that we still want these players who were part of a success, even when Forest have obviously moved on.
I still think he'd have been a good backup option last year for MGW given how cheap he'd have been to sign... Definitely moved on now though.

Agreed. Would definitely be in my first XI of those 23 years out the top flight. If you squinted really hard, you could pretend you were watching Zidane!
I remember loving him but when watching him in a preseason friendly at Chesterfield (second time around I think), the realisation that for all his quality he didn't actually do much finally dawned.

How did they sell him to Hull and Udinese?

Could we not have sold Brennan to Brentford and Tottenham?

Apparently already injured at Udinese.

Got to feel sorry for the lad, he is almost as injury prone as they come.
I honestly think an injury free Davis, with the extra experience that would have got him and you'd think potentially even that extra yard of pace, would be a great modern Premier league striker

To be fair to him he's still making a career for himself at very high levels of football so he won't exactly retire poor and struggling, but no doubt he'll always look back and think what could have been bless him

Feel for the guy.

I think had we not been concerned about his injury record we probably would have paid Villa the £15m.

Must be so frustrating for him he can't really get his career started despite having such natural talent.
