Think the post saved that free kick by itself.

It is, because just like the Evening Post website, he’s way past his best, overcomplicated, messy, and a cause of massive headaches.

Turner is better in all aspects bar the kicking. If only we could transplant Vlach's legs onto Turner. Actually, he'd then never come off his line. Scrap that idea.

Turner to start v Brentford

Unlike the Evening Post website, Vlach isn't riddled with viruses, never pops up to get in the way and I'm told doesn't like spam.

This debate goes to show you get what you pay for in the PL. Most first choice players nowadays are going for £20m+. Even media darlings Brghton who are known for their value purchases spent £90m on four players this summer.

We spent a combined £13m on both our keepers, and it shows. One of them is OK but with flaws, the other is shit.

Get through this season but by August I'd be hoping we're in a position to drop £25m on a new keeper, with Turner being the backup option as he should have been at £8m.

There are about 5 keepers in the Prem worse than Turner.

Unfortunately, we employ three of them.

His faults can be easier mitigated and does make some good saves. When the Blackpool's second went in last night, that was 9 of the last 10 shots on target Vlach had faced had resulted in a goal, either he's the unluckiest keeper alive to face so many unsavable shots, or he's abysmal.

Turner is much better due to the fact he’s actually made a save or two this season.

Turner should be second choice next season and Vlach should be shipped to a land far far away.

Vlachodimos would throw and miss with every punch, though all is not lost if Turner attempts a kick (Turner would fall on his arse).

How many times did you see Barry Roche and Stephen Henderson play?

But Vlachodemos doesn't ever do anything that remotely looks keeperly to me.

However, I did see Henderson have full on stinker, but he was playing for Bournemouth at the time when Simon Cox smashed him to bits.

With Turner I think it's largely a confidence issue. Not to say he'll turn into Gordon Banks the second he's in a better state of mind but he looked more than capable earlier on in the season in some tough games. It wasn't until the Brentford game where he started to look a bit out of sorts and then he was bombed out after a mistake against Liverpool a few weeks later. By the time he was brought back in, the team was struggling and that's not an easy environment for a keeper bereft of confidence to be thrown back into. Obviously he's a professional goalkeeper and has a job to do so he can't rely on the sympathy vote forever - but he's a good keeper when he's on his game and hopefully he'll rediscover his form soon. God knows we need him to.

As for Vlachodimos, I'm not sure I've ever been less confident in a Forest goalkeeper. Even going back to the League One days. He's got a lot of experience at a good level so I'd like to think there's a decent keeper somewhere in there and he's coincidentally just going through a bad patch too - but it just seems as though every shot on target outside of his immediate range is a goal.

Turner as number one with Horvath and Hennessey as backup

Don't want to see this clown in goal for us again

It's all about mid-table...
Didn't think he was bad last night, 1st goal was well srtuck and placed, 2cnd he was guarding his near post (which he has to) and MoreRollos got outmuscled.

Swept up well when they put a swift ball over our backline.

I've not seen Vlachodimos make a save yet....at least Turner regularly makes good saves.........e.g. against Manure he made 2 critical saves (I know they're all critical)....

I think this is one of those that changes as the other one plays. As vlach has just played a couple of games everyone wants turner!! If turner plays the roles would be reversed 🤣

Anyway I voted turner. I think he’s a better goalkeeper but his kicking technique is poor.

I do think he should just be told to go back to basics with the kicking and he’ll be fine. Either make very basic passes or if in ANY doubt just smash it far and high!
