I have little to no time for Nixon as he's a bit too much of a knob for my liking but in fairness, he called Obrien and MGW as well. On the British based championship players he's had a decent summer with ours. I'd be happy with this.

He likes to give the impression he's in-the-loop info-wise, whilst rarely providing anything remotely of substance from my observations. That he now demands payment is, quite frankly, laughable.

"Need" is a big word-I am sure we would cope as we are, but I do worry about Mighten being our bench cover for the wide attacker/winger position at this level, particularly when we all know that the 5 subs rule means teams will have to be able to "change up" their attacking approach in the final 1/3 of games. I think Bowler would be an upgrade on him, but in fairness hes pretty green as well...

This. We are well covered in midfield and up-front, but lacking in depth in defence. This seems to be the area in which we should target 2 or 3 more signings to finish off what has been an epic window.

i Would love to get bowler, would be a great show that we are not just thinking of this season but ahead aswell.
if we kept the squad together in a couple of seasons time we would have a lot of players all coming into their prime years!

Would have so many potential game changers on the bench. Which is massively important especially with 5 subs. We have already seen key injuries, a couple more and the bench options looks crap again.

I really like Bowler too, you know in some ways he actually reminds me a bit of Brennan, direct and likes running at the fullback
